My best friend liked this guy named Sean. He is pretty tall, smart, has light brown hair, and is pretty cute. I used to like him at one point when we were in the same history class, but we never really talked. I would see him in the halls and lunch and would make awkward eye contact with him, but that's about where our total contact ends.
Anyways, my best friend, Tiffany, wanted me to talk to him for her. You know, give her the info on him, so I did. I got to know a lot more than what I told her. Including the tiny fact that he liked me. I know crazy, right? I mean, I did tell her, but she kind of shrugged it off like it was not big deal.
"Are you sure you are okay with him liking me and all?" I knew she wasn't , but she was just so convincing at the time.
"Yeah, I am totally fine with it. You know, you two should get together."
"Really?" I was in total shock. Why would she be so cool with this?
"Yes, I think y'all would be good for each other."
I took her word for it. I started talking to Sean a lot more. He sat at our lunch table, we got each others numbers, and we started sitting on the bus together. I got to know a lot more about him and a bit of his past.
Tiffany seemed so supportive and understanding. I thought she was fine with it all. I really loved her for leaving the issue alone for me. I liked Sean a lot, once again, and he seemed to like me a lot too. That's how we got together.
I know, not the coolest story of how we became, but I thought it was good. I was happy with Sean, and Tiffany was the supporting friend on my side. I really do love what she did for me.
Sean and I are doing great! We know each other like the back of our hands and we really love each other. I know love is a big word for a 14 year old, but I believe you can find love at any age. It's possible!
I haven't felt strong feelings like these ever since... Grant.
Grant was this guy that was a grade above of me. He was in theatre and UIL. We saw each other often, well, it was more like I saw him often. He was really tall, had black hair, and a sweet, nice personality. He was great. Of course, I stalked him.
I know, how could I stalk a guy that barely knew me? I mean, he knew me, but was kind of.. sort of.. scared of me. When I was in 6th grade and he was in 7th, I told him that I liked him at a UIL competition. He rejected me politely and said we could be friends. Which we were, but that didn't stop me from liking him, MAJORLY.
I started going through this stalker phase, where at competitions, I would take pictures of him without his knowledge. My friends helped me do this, too. I mean, I loved their support, but while one of my friends were taking pictures when I was competing in my room, he found out.
You see, while he was playing basketball in the gym, Pamela was near the bleachers taking pictures. She looked down at the phone screen and saw that he was zoomed at a good angle. Wow, she thought, I am good at this. She looked up from the phone and saw he was standing right in front of her.
He asked, "Are you taking a video of me?"
Being the dumbass she is, she answered dumbly, "No! I am taking pictures!"
Yeah.. I know, crazy how that happened, right? I mean, thankfully, that made me stop my stalker phase. I would have loved for it to have gone differently, but what can you do?
Anyways, I don't see Grant anymore because he went on to high school and I got over him (after months of course). Besides, I am perfectly happy with Sean. I couldn't ask for anyone better!
