I was still pissed at Samantha. How could she do this to me? I ignored her text apologizing for what happened. I didn't bother to reply to her. I also didn't bother to hear Grant's side of the story.
I sat on the couch in the living room, with my hand covering my face. My parents were out for work and my older brother was with his girlfriend someplace. Then, I heard a rapid knock on the front door. It keep continuously banging. I got annoyed after a few minutes and looked through the peep hole. Tiffany. I didn't bother to answer.
"Please!" She screamed. "I have to tell you something!!!" She kept banging on the door.
I gave up the silent game and let her in. She sat on the couch, panting as if she ran 10 miles. Finally, she spoke.
"Samantha didn't kiss Grant."
"Listen, Tiffany, I don't want to hear it. I-"
"Grant kissed Samantha. And I know Sophia kissed you."
I froze. "How do you know?"
"Sophia told me. She also told me how she had planned it all! She hosted the party to get your kiss, she made Grant kiss Samantha. Sophia has planned to break you up from Samantha so she could have you! Don't you see that?"
For a moment, I was frozen. Everything was coming together. All this time I wanted to believe that Sophia was just trying to be a friend. I thought she wanted to expand our group. I thought she was different...
"I didn't realize that..." That was all I could say.
"You have to tell Samantha!" She continued. "She doesn't know. She is really sad.."
Oh god! Samantha! I forgot about her for a moment.
"Give me time to get ready." I told Tiffany as I headed upstairs. I needed to be quick.
