Sophia had me by my arm and held it close to her as she showed the house to me. We were on the first floor when she started the tour.
"Okay, here's the kitchen and the dining room." She said while yanking my arm in every direction.
"Okay, okay you win the argument." I do admit, it was a pretty big house, but that's not the reason why I wanted her to let me go. While passing the kitchen, I saw a glimpse of Samantha rubbing her shirt off with napkins. Some guy was on the ground picking up her cup, but I didn't see who it was...
I lost my train of thought when I realized Sophia was taking me upstairs for the ending of the tour.
"I already admitted my lost," I said rather rudely, as was my intention, "why are we upstairs?"
"I just wanted to show you something in my room." She turned into a room that was fully purple, and when I say fully purple, I mean purple EVERYWHERE. I gazed around the room. It was like being inside a grape. I, stopping my gazing, saw Sophia holding a journal that had huge, black letters spelling out 'DON'T OPEN! THIS IS PRIVATE!' I gave her a puzzled look. She pulled me down on her purple covered bed and opened it. I saw poetry and journal entries. They were all dated and the earliest date I saw was back in 6th grade.. a long time ago.
She started to read them out loud.
" 'Dear Journal, I know I have written this a million times before but, again, I miss my Sean..' "
Wow, this chick is crazy. That's when I realized she had pictures of me on the walls. All the pictures were the same: I wasn't knowing she was taking them. Some were me being at various practices and other were in the classrooms and lunch.
I started to feel uncomfortable. I stood up quickly and darted to the door, but I wasn't fast enough. She got in the way faster than you could shout "Help!".
"What's wrong?" She tilted her head.
"I.. um.. need to go check on Samantha" I tried to gently push her out of the way, but she pushed me back on her bed. She climbed on top of me.
"What's the hurry?" She kissed me. I shoved her off as hard as I could and ran out of the room and down the stairs.
I searched the whole bottom floor. I couldn't find Samantha anywhere. I saw Tiffany on the couch with a Sophomore's arm around her. They seemed really into each other.
"Where is Samantha?" I panted.
"Oh I think outside with Grant." She didn't even look at me to answer.
Grant. Why Grant?, I thought.
I ran to the glass patio doors. I saw Samantha and Grant with a quick glance. I looked down to find the handle of the door. I opened it fast and went outside.
"Samantha, I-" But I stopped talking. Grant had his hands on her cheeks and was kissing her. My heart broke. I ran past them and went out of the yard through the gate. Samantha must of noticed because she yelled for me. I couldn't stand the pain I was feeling. I jumped into my car and left the party; crying my soul out.
