"Thank you so much, Sean." I hugged him as he started to get out of his car.
"No problem", Sean returned. I smiled and turned to look at the minor dent. Honestly, it was super small. I didn't even notice it till Gerard showed me. It was in the back, under the trunk. He said that the tiny "tap" the other car gave him, tapped at the right spot to where the lights in the back don't work. We can't drive home with a broken light or two.
"Hey, what were you doing before I called you?" I asked Sean.
"Doing the usual. Looking over Samantha. Making sure she is okay."
"Awesome! Would you mind if you take me and Gerard back to see her? While we wait for the tow company to call us back." I glanced toward Gerard who was yelling at the phone in frustration.
"It would be great to have some company besides... " Sean's voice trailed off. I knew exactly who he was talking about. I am surprised he left him alone with her in the hospital.
"Don't worry," I started, "we'll be there for you."
"Thanks." He smiled at me. We all got into the car and left.

We got to the hospital around 6 in the afternoon. The ride back was really quiet, but luckily, we had the radio is fill the silence.
We got into the elevator and went to Samantha's floor. We walked to her room. Sean walked a bit faster than Gerard and I. He turned to look in her room before entering and froze in his step. He didn't move a single muscle. I thought it was because Samantha was finally awake.
I rushed besides him and nudged Gerard to go faster. I got to Sean and turned to what he saw. I was out of breath.
Samantha was kissing Grant. They didn't even look up at all. We all stood there stunned. After watching a minute of this show, Sean stomped in the room. Grant jolted up from the hospital bed. He had a scared look on his face. Sean stopped in front of him with is hands both in fists.
"Hey, Sean," Grant tried to say, "calm down." Grant backed up a few feet, but that wasn't far enough back to dodge Sean's punch. Grant was on the ground and Sean stepped over him.
"What are you doing kissing my-" Sean got cut off my Samantha getting Sean off of Grant.
"Stop!" She yelled. Sean looked at her confused. "Who are you?!?"
Sean stopped and suddenly had a sad look over his face.
"What do you mean, baby girl? It's me, Sean. You're boyfriend. Remember?"
"What?" She looked up at him puzzled. "I don't even know who you are. Even if I did, you are not my boyfriend." She went over to Grant and bent down to his side. He was holding his nose to stop the bleeding. She kissed him on his forehead. "Grant is my boyfriend." He looked at her and she kissed his lips.
I could literally hear the breaking of Sean's heart.
