Samantha and I were sitting in perfect harmony. The moon was shining in the right area. Her eyes illuminated as bright as the stars. We asked each other questions to get to know each other.

She had asked what my greatest fail was and as I told an incident with poop, a dog, and myself, she had started laughing her butt off. My heart, I kid you not, soared.

Her laughing was interrupted when she got hurt.

"Ouch!" She yelped as she rocked forward. She was covering her eye. "I think there is something in my eye."

"Let me have a look." There wasn't anything I could see in her eye, but I couldn't look away. Her eyes were beautiful to look in. I loved what I was seeing.

"Is there anything?"

I shook my head then the sudden urge came over me.

I kissed her. I had both my hands on her cheeks to make sure she didn't escape. Sadly, she did try to get me off but I didn't want to let go. That's when Sean stormed past us. I let her go and we inhaled a huge breath. She pushed me on the ground and ran towards the gate. It was too late though. He had already drove away by the time she got to the edge of the gate.

She crashed down, crying on the lawn. I came over and put my arm around her.

"Hey, it's going to be okay-"

"No! It's not!" She yelled at my face. "Don't you see he hates me now! I didn't want this to happen!" She went back to crying. I felt bad, but at the moment I felt bad because she didn't have a ride home.

Gerard had texted me that he was taking Tiffany home, so her car was gone. There was only one thing I could do.

"Let me make it up to you and take you home, at least."

She looked at me. She shook her head and chuckled. "Fine, but only because my parents would be mad if they found out I was ditched at a party."

We quickly got into the car and buckled in. As I pulled out, I tried to make conversation.

"Listen, I am sorry for kissing you. I didn't mean to and a certain urge came over me. I wished I hadn't."

"You know, a long time ago, I would fight against that. I had just moved on from you and now you want to make a move?"

"I didn't know what came over me and-"

"Fine! Whatever! Please!" She had crossed her arms and looked out the window. "There's my house. Pull over."

I pulled over to the curb. I felt bad. She reached for the handle, but I locked the door with the button on my door. She turned and gave me a mad glare.

"Can you let me out?"

"Can you hear me out really fast?"

She turned away from me. I lightly grabbed her chin and faced her towards me. She didn't resist. We looked at each other, eye to eye.

I continued. "I am truly sorry for what I did. I will talk to Sean tomorrow, myself. I will make sure he knows that you had no part in this. I will tell him the full truth and only the truth. I just can't bear to see you upset. I want to make sure you become happy again. Please, forgive me?"

She still was looking into my eyes. She sighed and nodded her head.

"Thank you." I couldn't help but to kiss her forehead. She didn't flinch. She just did a weak smile. I unlocked the door to let her out. She opened it and walked toward the door. I watched as the love of my life walked away from me.
