Chapter 20

Nandini's pov

bhai and navy took me out and we went shopping and I had lots of junk food oh and I got a lot of chips and candy home too. I even bought Manik a few things even though bhai and navya were giving me teasing smiles I didn't care cause he has been so fucking nice to me that I can at least get him somethings.

We got home and I threw all the stuff in my room and got changed in shorts and a t shirt, I saw bhai and navya talking outside so I went and sat in the middle of them

"Yes Nandini" bhai said and it seems like maybe they are having a serious discussion, "are you pregnant navya" I asked and bhai chocked on nothing

"No, what makes you think that" she said and I laughed "well it seemed like a serious conversation that I walked into" I said and bhai smacked my head making me frown

"Mai complain karungi ap bohot Marta ho mujhai" I said and put my head on his shoulder even thought he hit me and he just smiled

They continued their conversation while I was just on my phone but my mind was wandering to Manik. I missed him and I don't know why, it has only been 5 hours or so but I really miss him a lot. I dont know if its the fact that I am used to having him around or if its because I want him around but either ways I'm happy to have him in my life.

"Nandini do you think Manik is your type" navya asked bringing me out of my Manik land and I frowned hearing this, "why this sudden question" I asked

"Umm just asking I think its time for you and him to start seeing people and I mean like different people. Manik hasn't dated since high school and you haven't since first year college" she said and I wondered if he really loved the girl and the reason behind the breakup

"Ya I don't know, is he nice yes but im not sure I can date anyone" I said being honest and bhai caressed my hair

"doll, im gonna be extremely honest and then I won't ever mention this again. manik is exactly the person who id love my sister to date and im not saying this because he is my best friend but becasue he has the best heart out there. He might have some baggage and past shit but so do you and who doesn't so I would say even though you dont have to but if you ever want to date someone or spend the rest of your life with someone manik would be an amazing person for that" bhai  said and I couldn't help but smile

"Mr cabir dhawan dont try to play cupid in between that asshole and I becasue its not needed" I smiled and navya's smile widened

"You like him dont you" navya asked, "I do, but I would rather us be what we are and have the process naturally occurring instead of you two trying to set us up. I didn't think id like him but he listened to everything about sail and he said he is proud of me for being strong" I said and bhai smiled

"I told you he isn't that bad" he said

"Who isn't that bad" manik asked walking in all hot and messy, shut up nandini.

"Bhai was talking about you but I think you and bhai should have a kid together you know surrogacy or ivf could help the bromance is just off the mother fucking chains man" I said and manik smacked my head lightly

"What did I say about the language" he said and stuck my tongue out at him, "I will punch you if you ht me again" I said and bhai was laughing like a manic on the couch

"What stop laughing" I said, "nandu I think you are right, they should have a kid" navya said and looked at navya, "you give the eggs and take both their sperms and lets have twins" I said and both bhai and manik frowned

"Oye haram kar ek toh mai tujhsai bada hu, auf tera bhai hu kaisi batar kar rahi hai" bhai said and manik sat down beside bhai

"Han tom im not discussion your sex life am I" I couldn't help but say that, "nandini baby enough of this, go get something to eat" manik said and I smacked his arm from over bhai

"Cabir tu dekh lai, yeh esehi karti hai I have brusises everywhere because of her" he said looking at bhai and I shook my head, "aww you big baby, fuck you" I said getting up and going to the kitchen cause I want chocolate

I grabbed chocolate from the fridge and sat on the counter having it becasue if I went out I would have to share. I was enjoying my chocolate when my phone made a buzz noise. I looked and saw some WhatsApp message so I went on their and my phone fell seeing the message.

"Nandini are you okay" manik asked, maybe he heard the phone falling but I could help my tears as they rolled  down my cheek and I was stuck in my past again.

I heard footsteps in a few seconds and saw manik walking towards me.

"Nandnini shh kia Hua" he asked wiping my cheeks, "man manik he is going to take me see he even send me pictures" I couldn't stop my tears I just couldn't

"Baby shhh Maine kya bola tha tumhai, jab tak mai sath hu tumhai kuch ni hoga, I promise" he said and put my head on his shoulder as he wraps his arms arounds me

"Ill get you a new phone tom morning and you only give that number to cabir, navya and I okay no one else aur rahi bat sahil ki toh give me your phone" he said, "it fell" I whispered in his neck.

He looked around and saw it beside his feet so he grabbed me with one arm and picked up the phone walking outside as I snuggle more into his neck

"Ohh abhi sai romance shuru ho Gaya tum dono ka" I heard bhai teasing but I couldn't think of anything right now other than being snatched away by sahil
