Chapter 38

Nandini's pov

i put my head on his shoulder still straddling on his lap like a baby while he caressed my hair

"When he left me in that hotel that wasn't the first or the last time he hit me. Before that he would flirt with other girls and when I questioned him and asked if he is serious about us he would get me all these presents and stuff to make up but that never worked. So he would promise and even be physically abusive, he would push me or slap me then apologize. This happened after every argument every time which is why I reacted like that. After that day in the hotel, when I went back to college I found out he had been cheating on me with a few different girls. I tried to be quiet and not come in his way but every day he would purposely push me or kick me when no one was looking, his friends would humiliate me every day for the next 3 years" I couldn't believe that Manik has been so patient with me

"You know nandini, these jerks are so fucked up and I promise that if I get my hands on him which I will soon I will make him pay for everything he has done. I am so proud of you baby girl, so proud, you are so strong and im loud to have you as my better half" he said very gently making me relax in his arms

"Thank you" I whispered, "you are a cutie" he said kissing my hair, "by the way, I have to tell you something, I really loved the sound of you calling me fiancé infant of innaya" he teased and I smirked

"She touched what's mine and I aint about to let her oh also I will chop her hair off if she kisses you again, is that understood mr malhotra" I asked looking in his eyes and smiled, "it is understood mrs malhotra",

"Im not mrs malhotra yet" I reminded him, "I have already accepted you as my wife and a piece of paper or a ceremony isn't gonna stop me from accepting that now will you make it easy for me and get off my lap, you know its sort of 'hard' never mind the pun but its hard to focus when you are in just my shirt sitting on my lap" he said and mu cheeks heated up when I realized his shirt is ridden up and that I was literally in my thong infront of him

"Dont get uncomfortable" he said and I giggled "sir you are thinking of the wrong girl, I do not get uncomfortable especially infront of you" I said moving a little on his lap when he gripped my hips, "baby girl, lets get you food and keep those wild ideas in check especially for tonight" he said getting up and lifting me with him.

He put me on the bed and grabbed the phone in the room calling room service, he ordered some chicken nuggets for and I literally moaned even hearing the things he ordered.

I was dangling my feet off the bed when the food showed up and manik put the food on the bed and I crossed my legs licking my lips. He chuckled seeing me excited about food which I ignored

I put a chicken nugget in my mouth and ahh, "ummm hmm oh my gosh umm this is so good" I literally moaned and manik's face was worth looking, "nandini darling I know its good but if you moan like that its gonna be a long night for the both of us and im not sure how sound proof these walls are" I swear he manages to make my cheeks heat up.

"Shuushhh and eat" I said smiling and eating. We ate watching tv but we were also talking about the dresses In the ball.

Manik cleaned my face cause apparently I had food everywhere but who cares man the food was amazing. He got in bed beside me and I could see he was uncomfortable in his pants cause honestly I would be too.

"Manik, you know you can sleep in your boxers i dont care" I said and he looked at me, "are you sure" he asked, "yes idiot, I dont care, dont worry I know its super uncomfortable" I said, "unless, you aren't wearing boxers" I teased and he chuckled taking his trousers off.

I am not gonna lie my eyes did travel down as he was taking his trousers off but seeing him smirk I literally looked away as he slipped beside me

"Eyes up here baby girl" he teased tilting my chin up to meet his eyes and I smacked his arm making him laugh at me

"My eyes are up there now shut up and let me sleep" I said closing my eyes, and heard him chuckle

" Goodnight nanu" he whispered in my ear as I cuddled closer to him smiling, "night manik" I said kissing his chest.

We both fell a sleep right away because it was such an exhausting day with the argument and stuff, one thing was for sure that I hate arguing with manik and I dont think I ever wanna do it again even though it's a part of life.

Manik's pov

I woke up feeling the sun in my face, and I saw nandini's face as soon as I opened my eyes which made me smile. She was trying to hide her face in my neck to get away from the sun making me chuckle at her.

I slipped out of the bed and she shifted to the pillow that I placed beside her. I went to the shower and put on the same clothes. I came out of the bathroom and saw nandini sitting on the bed rubbing her eyes

"Aww mera bacha uth gaya, good morning Jaan", I sat beside her pecking her lips, and she moved away, "eww Maine brushy bhi ni ki" she is so cute

"I dont care, let me kiss you" I said and she shook her head, "good morning manik" she kissed my shoulder putting her head on my shoulder after.

"Manik, I dont wanna shower or put on that same dress again oh by the way I love the dress thank you", "that's okay just keep my shirt and you can shower at home" I said and she giggled like a baby when I nudged her nose with mine

Since the roads were good now we headed out, the whole way back anndini put her legs on my lap and was holding my hand. She talked about a lot of weird things like how she has mustard with chips like what. Well we got home and got back to our normal life.

It has been a few months, well 11 months exactly since the ball and the proposal, we were getting officially married tomorrow. It may seem early but I think its perfect timing honestly I was getting impatient at this point I just her to be mine legally too.

Nandini wanted to have a Christian wedding and so did I so we are getting married in a church tomorrow and im so happy.
