"Not now cabir" I said sitting down beside cabir with nandini still on my lap as she snuggled closer in my neck.
"What's wrong" he asked and I didnt answer instead I opened Nandini's phone and went on WhatsApp to see what message sahil had sent. As soon as I saw it I lost my shit, it said "I will always come back for you sweetheart oh and if you dont want me to come take you from your house, then come downstairs tom at 9 in the morning"
"What the fucking hell" I screamed and nandini flinched in my lap making me feel guilty about screaming
"Sorry baby girl" I whispered in her ear and cabir and navya looked at me for answers so I just passed the phone to them. I could see cabir's eyes widening and becoming angry
"Fucker, I fucking told him to stay away 2 years ago, I will fukcing kill him" he said getting uo and right now I have to calm down nandini who had started crying in my neck again
"Cabir I need you to shut the fuck up and not scream, she is crying so will you please stop". i said caressing her back and his face softened hearing that.
He kneeled down infant of us and caressed nandini's arm, "bacha im sorry, I wont yell, he wont come back I promise" he said and nandini pulled her face out of my neck "bhai he will take me" she whispered and cabir wiped her cheeks
"Doll, he will never take you ever I promise, nandini promise" he said and hearing that Nandini seemed to calm down a little
"Cabir, I thought your sister was some big don yar dekh kya bacho ki tarha ro rahi hai". i said hoping she will fire back and she did
"Oh fuck you asshole, im not crying it was just esehi, dont think I wont kick your ass and cut your dick off if you ever say that im crying like a baby" she said
"What did I say about dick jokes baby, they are off limit" I said and she just shrugged her shoulders making me laugh
"Oye meri bhen ko bacha mat bol, mana woh chotu is hai par" he was cut off with nandini slapping his arm
"Ahh I hate you all" she said getting off my lap and walking to her room
"Ill get her a new phone tom morning and dont worry ill be around so that fucker wont even come close" I said and cabir nodded
"He must be keeping tabs on her warna how would he get her number" navya said and I frowned
"What happened after she came back home" I asked, "she just stayed in her room a lot, she went to college every day, didnt miss a single class but navya would find marks or bruises on her arms and legs everyday new ones, I even asked her what happened and she would just change the topic. All I know is on the last day of college she came back home and asked if she could change her number and that's all. After that she was happy working here, once she stopped going to college there were no new bruises or marks, she would actually laugh and stuff" cabir said and now im curious to how this fucker got her number
"Umm okay" "ill trace her phone and stuff and see if I can locate him" cabir said getting up and I nodded
"Dont you guys want dinner" I asked, "manik she needs you right now so go be with her, she even got you stuff form the mall and we will go home and cook, call us if you need anything" navya said and they both left.
I locked the doors and walk to nandini's room to see her laying on clothes, "baby whats going on" I asked and she frowned looking at me
"There are so many clothes wait, I have to show you something" she said getting up as I sat on her bed moving the clothes
She grabbed some bags from her closet and sat beside me handing me the bags making me raise my eye brow at her "open it na please" she said so cutely making me peck her cheeks
"What is it" I asked and she just smiled "open it and see"
I opened the bag and saw a few shirts, "nandini who is this for" I asked and she frowned 'for my boyfriend" she said and I frowned
"Of course its for you cowboy, I thought that I torture you enough so maybe I should compensate with shirts becasue im not gonna ever stop bothering you or troubling you so why not and anyway you have a boring closet" she said making me smile
"Thank you baby girl, I appreciate it, even though you didnt have to" I said pulling her close and pecking her cheek twice
"Manikkkk" she giggled as I rubbed my nose on her cheek after kissing it, "you are really cute nanu, I am happy to have you in my life I am glad you let me be your friend, I couldn't have found a better friend ever" I said and she flung herself on me wrapping her arms around my neck
"You know cowboy I still think you are an asshole but you are handsome too and I am very happy to have you in my life too mr malhotra" she whispered in my ear making me feel some types of way
"Thank you baby, you wanna let go so I can get changed then ill cook something for you" I said and she shook her head in my shoulder
"Okay come with me then" I said picking her up and walking to my room while she just made herself comfortable in my arms
"You are strong you know, I am not the skinniest human and you can still lift me with only one arm" she said sitting on my bed as I took my shirt off and walking to the bathroom to change into sweatpants
"You are really skinny nandini, you are barely a 100 pounds baby" I said washing my face and she didnt even think twice before walking in my bathroom and opening the door
