(RM's POV)

Three months later

That morning when I woke up, I found myself laying on the bed, motionless, for a few extra minutes. It's been three months now and so many things have changed, even me.

My mind-reading power was gone as abruptly as it had arrived and while the gap it left behind felt like an empty part of me, the people that it gave me were enough to fill that void.

“Joon-ah! They are here!” came mom's voice from downstairs. This was followed by a relatively quieter, “Jin, sweetie, you look so handsome today!”

The sound of Jin's laughter made my insides all warm and I shouted back a reply with a smile on my face, “Coming!”

I sprinted towards the front door and was greeted by everyone's smiling and equally excited faces, “Let's go!” I said while linking arms with Jin and after they had all said goodbye to Mom, we headed for our destination, the amusement park.

“Why are we leaving so early?” Yoongi whined making everyone burst out in laughter.

“We will have to ride the metro and then take a bus... it's going to be time-consuming. Plus! We have to be back in time too.” Jimin explained.

Yoongi's reply wasn't audible but as I was walking right beside him, I heard words like ‘annoying’, ‘tired’, ‘too early’.

“Come on Yoongs! We are going together... it's going to be fun!”, Hoseok said, he was basically leading everyone.

I took a glance behind us and noticed that Taehyung and Kookie were far behind us.

“They look cute together, don't they?” Jin whispered from beside me.

“Yeah...” my eyes went to our interlinked arms and then back to their interlocked fingers. My brows furrowed in thought as I kept staring at our arms and when I lifted my eyes, I caught Jin staring at our arms too.

Come to think of it...we don't act all lovey-dovey and it's already been almost four months now... should I take a step forward today?

Just as I finished thinking, Jimin shouted, “Guys hurry up! We are going to miss the train! Yahh! You two in the back! Run!”

Three hours later we were finally at our destination.

“That took us forever...” Yoongi sighed.

“Yesss but....” Hoseok began saying and taking the cue, and the rest of us finished his sentence, “WE ARE FINALLY HERE!”

I watched, completely amused, as Taehyung grabbed Jungkook's hand and ran off. Their departure was soon followed by Jimin, Hoseok and Yoongi's, leaving only Jin and me behind.

“Well...that happened in a flash...” Jin let out an awkward laugh.

You can do this Namjoon-ah!

Carefully, I interlocked our fingers and afterwards avoided his gaze, “Soo... which ride first?”

“Hmm? Oh... I haven't decided yet... let's look around and see.”

I nodded my head in reply and we set off together.

(Third Person POV)

The three groups, which were divided based on what they wanted to do, spent time together for the next four hours, meeting in between only to have lunch together, and soon the sun was setting.

While Taehyung, Jungkook, Jimin, Yoongi and Hoseok finally gathered to spend the last few hours together; Namjoon decided it was the perfect atmosphere to romanticize things between him and Jin, so, the two of them headed for the Ferris Wheel.

“I'm scared of heights, you know...” Jin confessed.

“You will be okay, it's not that big. Plus the view is going to be amazing!” Namjoon reassured him.

With that in mind, Jin cautiously followed Namjoon inside one of the cabins and quickly sat down; his silly behaviour caused Namjoon to chuckle.

A few minutes passed in comfortable silence before the Ferris Wheel finally started moving and Jin found himself getting nervous. Upon noticing this, Namjoon tightened his grip around Jin's fingers and to his pleasure, Jin loosened up.

“The weather is great today... isn't it?” as soon as the words left his mouth, Namjoon grimaced, realising how stupid he probably sounded.

“Yup. Great for going out with your boyfriend. Or girlfriend.”

I really need to take a step forward today... Namjoon thought to himself while staring at Jin's side profile.

He slowly started closing the distance between him and Jin but had to move away when Jin, with a frown, suddenly turned towards him.

“You sure you can't read minds anymore?” he asked out of nowhere.

Namjoon was too stunned to reply verbally, so, he nodded instead, “It'd be really useful in a situation like this...” Jin continued.

“What do you mean?”

“Taehyung's always mocking me about how we aren't active in our relationship or something...”

This is it! Namjoon quickly closed the distance between them and this time was able to catch Jin's lips with his.

The two stayed like that for some time, too ignorant to do anything else. Their cabin had reached the top by this time and the warm light of the setting sun was giving their faces a soft glow.

Jin pulled away first, and with a small smile on his face, said, “If only you could still read minds...”

Guilt washed over Namjoon and with a sense of shame, he opened his mouth to tell Jin how he was doing his best but couldn't as Jin continued talking, “... you'd know that I like the way things are between us. We don't have to make someone else's standard ours.”

“Right!” Namjoon replied, intertwining their fingers again. With their heads leaning against each other's, the two of them spent the rest of the ride taking in the natural beauty.
