chapter 7

It's the afternoon and I'm in my house after my appointment. My moms gone shopping so I'm left alone. I scroll on Instagram and check the time.

1:26pm

I sigh out of boredom so I message nick

Heyyyyyy

After I send it I wait a few minutes before he replies

Hey how are you

I'm fine just really bored

Right I'm telling you this cause i trust you. My moms at work and no one's in the house if you want you can go over to mine and play with nellie. There are keys under the mat

You trust me to be on my own with the cutest dog in the world. Omg thank you soooo much

I go off Instagram and run to go find my shoes. I find them and put them on. After I leave I lock the door and run over to nicks. I find the keys and let myself in. Nellie runs over to me and I laugh I give her so much fuss and then do her dinner.

It's now 2:45pm and I have an idea.

"Walkies" I ask and she starts wagging her tail

I get her leash and put it on her. We leave the house and I make sure I've gotten everything including my phone and the two sets of keys. We start walking and walking until we get to the place I wanted to be. Truham school. I check the time and see it's 3:00pm. We just have to wait 15 minutes. We go sit on the beach and I give nellie some water due to her looking tired. After she's finished drinking I pat the part of the bench next to me for her to sit on. She jumps up and lies her head on my lap.

"Oh nellie I wish i had a dog like you" I say while stroking her.

After a while I start seeing boys leave the school. I start to look for nick when I see tao and Charlie coming my way.

"Hey guys how was-" I was cut off by Charlie

"Omg is this your dog" he asks bending down to stroke her giving her lots of fuss

"No shes nicks he allowed me to look after her when I got home" I answer

"Oooo looking after his dog now are we" tao smirks
We all say goodbye and then I see nick walk out. He sees me and smiles and so he walks over.

"Hey what are you doing here" he asks stroking nellie

"We wanted to come and get you" I answer

He looks at me and smiles

"Come on let's go home. Shall we get the bus or walk" he questions

"I think we should take the bus" I reply while looking at nellie

We walk to the bus stop just in time for the bus and get on. We sit down and nellie lies on our laps. I smile and look out the window.

"How was your appointment" nick questions

"Oh it was fine. It was only an opticians appointment" I answer
