chapter 8

It's the next day and I'm about to walk out my house

"He said wait" arlo shouts

I chuckle and go sit down on the sofa. After about 20 minutes I hear a knock on the door. I get up and go and open it.

"Hi" nick starts

"Hi" I finish

"Are you ready to go"

"Yeah"

I shut my door and we walk to the bus stop. The bus comes in five minutes and we get on.

"You know I was about  to leave to come get you but my brother told me not to so I was nice and actually waited"

He laugh and smile

"Yeah I did tell you to wait for me and I'll pick you up soooo"

I laugh and look at him while he's smiling

"You know you've got a very pretty smile" I say nudging him while looking straight ahead

I look at him and he's looking at me

"Thanks. You've got a pretty smile too"

When it's time to get off the bus we do.

"Let's hang out with your friends today" I start

"Are you sure? We don't have to if you don't want to" nick replies

"It's fine" I smile

We walk over to the bench his friends are sat at and I see Harry and Ben.

Ben's okay because Charlie told me about them two dating. I smile slightly at him and he smiles at me slightly.

"Guys this is y/n" nick states

Some say hello but harry comes upto me.

"Your nicks girlfriend" he says

I roll my eyes

"No I'm not. I'm just his friend" I answer and he walks off

I lean on the side of the table next to nick and smile at him. Just then imogen comes over to us

"Hey nick. Who's this" she asks

"This is y/n my best friend" he says

I cringe at the word best friend but smile at him

"Oh okay" she walks away.

"I'm sorry about him again"

"It's fine" I say and I lean my head on his shoulder

He tenses up for a second but then relaxes.

"Are you okay" he asks

"Yeah. Just tired thats all"

I feel him smile and leans his head on top of mine. After a while I hear the bell go. I get up with nick and we start walking to form. We get to form and we sit down

"I just want to sleeppppp" I whine

"Just sleep on the desk. I'll wake you up" he states

I nod and lie my head on the table. I close my eyes and fall to sleep.

After a while I get nudged.

"We have five minutes left" nick starts

I smile tiredly and lean my head on his arm. He wraps it around me and we stay like that for a couple minutes. The bell goes for our fist lesson so we all get ready and leave
