8. Questions and Answers

Izuku stares back at intense ruby eyes, his mind wandering.

Katsuki just told him he doesn't want another angel, that he wants him and only him. This has a surge of feelings running rampant that he shouldn't have, definitely not for his charge.

But honestly, he wants that too but he's close now, too close and this could be disastrous, for him anyway. He knows he's already gone too far and it's only a matter of time before Hawks tracks him down for revealing himself to his charge. There are consequences to this stuff, he knows this, but still as he looks into the eyes of pure trouble he knows something else..

There's no turning back now.

" Ok, fine Kacchan, but no more test, you didn't have to go to that length, to begin with, all you had to do was ask me to show you and I would have, even tho I shouldn't."

Katsuki raises a brow.

" Shouldn't? Why shouldn't you?"

Izuku sighs as he walks to the window in the living room looking out at the night sky.

" Because, a guardian is never supposed to reveal themselves to anyone, especially not their charge. I'm not technically supposed to have any kind of face-to-face relationship with you. I'm meant to stay hidden in your shadow, always there but never known, just keeping you safe from a distance"

The blonde moves closer to Izuku, now standing next to him by the window but what's ever out there in the darkened night isn't near as interesting as the male he can't seem to remove his sights from.

" Why did you then? Why'd you show yourself to me?", Katsuki questions with curiosity.

Clear emeralds meet deep ruby eyes.

Izuku gives him a smile with a light blush then shifts his gaze back out the window.

" You started to notice things, things most people never do. Pressure on your skin, the sight of the truck driver hitting something that wasn't you, the beam I stretched my arms over so you could walk safely across. You couldn't explain it, it was making you feel crazy. I ... I didn't like that, so I appeared to you to try and form a distraction so you didn't feel that way."

Katsuki furrows his brow now feeling a twist of disappointment.

" So you were just trying to be a distraction so I didn't think I was fucking crazy? That's it?"

Izuku shifts his eyes to the blonde's seeing the ...the what? Hurt, disappointment, let down? He isn't quite sure yet.

" No, I mean maybe at first, but.. "

There's a pause.

" But what?"

The greenett meets his eyes both keeping a steady gaze.

" But there's something about you, something about you I wanted to know on a different level than just being your guardian. I wanted to be known by you"

The blonde feels a heart skip as he takes another step closer.

" What kind of different level?", he asked with a smoldering smirk.

The angel blushes.

" You thought I was cute and wanted to date me... I.. I wanted to explore that"

Katsuki's ruby eyes lock on.

" Think, I think you're cute, it's not past tense Deku, I actually think you're hot as fuck.", the blonde smirks causing a deep flush on angel cheeks as emerald eyes shoot up to rubies.

The blonde sees it and chuckles.

" What? You never heard that before?"

Izuku shakes his head.
