It's been two days since the heart-stopping events of the day that a green-eyed angel thought he lost the love of his life.

Even though the blonde construction worker is completely fine since his resurrection by All Might he promised Izuku he'd take a couple of days off work mostly because the greenett was having a hard time letting go of him in any way.

He's either cuddled up next to him, in his lap, hugging him, or at least has a set of clear emerald eyes on him at pretty much at all times.

And all of this sugary sweet, clingy, cuddly constant attention doesn't bother a harsh blonde one bit, in fact, he's loved every minute of it.

The pair is currently laying in bed on a lazy rainy afternoon watching TV while the greenett mindlessly draws shapes on his boyfriend's chest. Clear green eyes gaze across the room at nothing in particular while Katsuki is caught up in some cheezy suspense thriller.

Izuku scrunches his face in thought deciding to ask a question he has a least a hundred times in two days.

" Kacchan?"

Katsuki runs his fingers through green locks eyes still on the screen of the movie he's caught up in as he responds.

" Hum?"

The angel shifts his sights to the blonde's bare chest that's rising and falling with ease while he continues to draw shapes.

" You're sure you're ok after everything? You feel ok right?"

Crimson eyes shift down to his boyfriend.

Izuku has asked this question almost every hour on the hour yesterday and Katsuki can tell his angel is worried. He lifts the remote and mutes the TV.

" Oi, look at me Deku."

The greenett does as he's told, turning over on his back while he gazes up into crimson eyes.

" I've told you a hundred times and I'll tell you a million more if that's what it takes to make you relax that I'm absolutely fine. Deku, I wouldn't have had a damn clue that I bit the dust if you hadn't told me. When All Might brought me back he did a damn good job. I'm fine, I promise you that."

The angel in his lap smiles even though there are tears in his eyes. The blonde reaches down and brushes one away with his thumb.

" Hey... shhh now. What's wrong baby?"

The sweetness of the pet name and the gentleness of the tone makes another tear fall.

Katsuki furrows his brow with concern.

" Talk to me angel boy."

Izuku smiles with a light laugh at one of the two nicknames given to him by the blonde.

" It was just so scary. I .. I thought for sure I had lost you forever and out of all my years in existence and everything that I have had to witness, nothing, absolutely nothing scared me the way that did. I couldn't bare the thought of life without you, I'm sure I would have followed right after you.", he tells the blonde with watery eyes.

A mix of both heartache and love crash inside Katsuki as he peers down into emotional eyes.

" I know. I know the feeling mostly because of the night you fell and were dying in my arms. Fuck, I still have nightmares about it. I felt the same way but we're both here Deku. We both survived and lived to tell the damn story. I'm fine and so are you, we're happy and together and nothing else matters now. All that shit is behind us and we can finally start moving forward without worry about being ripped apart, ever for that matter."
