25. Christmas Angel

Things for a former angel have been going amazingly great.

He's been adjusting to his new life as a human well. Every day has become a new adventure and a learning experience.

Katsuki has made each and everyday worth living for in ways Izuku never thought he would experience. In ways he never thought were for him.

He's loved, taken care of, watched out for and all of it seems to get better by the day.

And now a new exciting time is upon him, Christmas.

Sure Izuku has been around since the start of Christmas as a guardian but that was totally different then experiencing it in this way where he could actually enjoy it and take part in the festivities.

Even as a guardian he loved this time of year. Loved the loom of brightly colored Christmas lights, loved decorations of red, greens and golds. He enjoyed watching happy smiling faces of people hustling and bustling along with flushed faces from the cold with neatly wrapped presents for family and friends.

He liked the sound of Christmas songs playing, old and new ones. Liked the snow fall and the building of snowmen.

He liked Christmas and everything that came with it and now as he stands back admiring the beautiful Christmas tree that Katsuki had brought home for him to decorate the night before those emerald eyes glow without the help of heaven like they use to.

He's fixing an unruly reindeer ornament when he hears the apartment door open with a thundering voice behind it.

" I'm home Angel Boy!", Katsuki says stepping through the door with a smirk.

The greenett laughs watching the dirty from work blonde step through the door and head right for him.

Izuku gives his boyfriend a grin wrapping his arms around the large construction worker feeling the blonde pepper his neck and face with quick kisses making him break into breathless laughter.

" Ahh! Kacchan! Your face is so cold!", he says between giggles.

The sound makes Katsuki grin against the warm skin he's still assaulting with cold kisses.

" Well yeah cause it's cold as fuck, but you, your nice and warm.", the blonde smirks as he slides freezing cold hands up the back of Izuku's sweatshirt, placing them on warm skin making the greenett shriek at the feeling if goosebumps running over his skin in waves.

" Oh my gosh Kacchan!!! S-so.. so cold!!", he shivers out making the blonde chuckle.

" Being human is always so great huh Deku?", he teases as he leans down and kisses the greenett softly while he shivers in his hold.

But as that kiss goes on and hits Izuku's system making every sense he has come alive he knows that being human is great, it's great just to be able to experience what he is right now and he wouldn't change that for anything in this world.

When the blonde pulls back he rest his forehead on the other's while he holds a warm cheek on his plam.

" How was your day? Miss me?"

The greenett smiles while he plays with the back of perfect blonde spikes.

" It was good, I went Christmas shopping for the first time in ... well ever", he laughs softly making Katsuki smile at the sound.

" And of course I missed you, i miss you as soon as you walk out the door until you get home. How was your day Kacchan? Stay out of trouble?", he grins.

The blonde smirks down at him plating a kiss on his cheek as he responds.

" It was alright, cold as fuck up there now on top of those buildings but it was ok other than wanting to get back home to you. And yeah much to my own fucking surprise I stayed out of trouble, since I know my angel is back here waiting."
