Dulcinea POV
It has been weeks now since Puss came to San Lorenzo, our little town. And I would love to say I have no regrets of him stealing that coin and staying with us here. I was just at the fountain while the children were playing Pajunas game coin flipping. That day was crazy for this whole town. Especially when puss acted like he had way too much Catnip heh. I saw puss leaning against the entrance fidgeting with his sword. Emes was also brushing Babeaca. He's a good horse.
Toby: "Dulcinea! Can we ask Puss if he can play coin toss with us?"

Dulcinea: "oh I'm not so sure children. Puss was pretty upset when he sees this game now".

Cleval: oh come on! What's the worse that can happen?"

Dulcinea: "uh kid pickles did kick Puss when he was crazy?"

As Dulcinea was talking to Toby. The rest of the orphans went over to ask.

Puss: "Thank you for your service Emes! I really appreciate that you brushed Babeaca.

Emes: "no problem Puss, anyways I have to get going back to my wife before she gets mad again".
Puss watched Emes left and Puss looked over to see most of the orphans there with puppy eyes.

Puss: "what may I do for you Orphans?"

Vina: "Did you know we want you to play coin toss with us?"

Puss's eyes went wide with his left twitching. Vina took out a coin 🪙 and handed it slowly to Puss.

Puss:"Absolutely not!"
Puss got his sword and flanged the coin away. Vina looked sad and upset.

Vina: "did you know that was my favourite coin?"

Dulcinea ran to the situation.
Dulcinea: "now children...you know how Puss gets with that..now I want you to pick up Vina's coin and not bother Puss!" Dulcinea commanded. The orphans did exactly that.

Dulcinea: "im am so sorry about that Puss! I tried telling them"-

Puss: "there's nothing to apologize for Dulcinea. I got what the orphans intentions were. Wish I didn't overreacted." Dulcinea put her paw on his.

Dulcinea: "now don't worry! Im sure they understand...now. But it's getting late it's time for me to read them a bedtime story."

Puss: "well then goodnight!"
Just about as Dulcinea was leaving. She turned and grabbed his paw and gave a kiss on his cheek. His face was all red.

Dulcinea: "good night Puss"
