Puss in boots oneshots (San Lorenzo)

Invisible chains

Puss and Dulcinea were sitting at the picnic table under the tree by the orphanage. Dulcinea was reading off rhymes in her book to the orphans Toby, Vina, and Kid Pickles.

"That was amazing Dulcinea!" Toby cheered.

"Oh Toby it was just a rhyme. Anyways it's time for your children's nap." Dulcinea closed her book and watch the 3 head up to the Orphanage. She looked at Puss who was staring off towards the fountain.

"Uh Puss?"

"Huh! Oh hey Dulcinea!" He said with a smile.

"Well, I'm gonna go meet you at the cantina!" She said and then hopped down from the bench and started walking to the cantina.

Puss was about to get down until something tugged at his wrist. He looked down and saw a shackle connected to a chain attached to the bench table. He tugged put couldn't get out.

"What?" Puss said out loud.

"Puss! Are you coming?" Dulcinea shouted.

"Yeah give me a second!" He yelled back. He looked back down and the chain was gone.

"...must if bee my imagination." He said and then went to the cantina.

"Laddy I hope you will pay your tab this time!" Pajuna said with a smirk.

Puss got a coin from his hat and gave it to Pajuna which surprised her.

'Is he feeling okay?'

Pajuna took the coin and gave it back to Puss.

"It's on the house today Laddie." She then handed him a Leche. He looked at her confused and then went to sit with Dulcinea at the table.

"Hey Puss I was thinking of maybe writing my own rhymes book for the orphans, this old one is getting boring to them."

Puss licked his milk and nodded.

"I think you would make a good author for a book like that, I mean you have been reading it most of your life."

"I guess your right." Dulcinea giggles.

"Señor Puss!"

Puss looked over and saw Uli running to him.

"Uli? What's the matter?" Dulcinea asked.

"Huh? Oh nothing! I just wanted to see where the towns hero was!"

"Well the towns hero! Is having a break right now." Puss responded with an eye roll. Even if he got Uli out of the realm of darkness he still doesn't fully trust the goaty man.
He was about to get up but another tug was on his wrist. He looked down and saw another chain and shackle connected. He tugged but it wouldn't budge.

"Puss? Are you alright?" Dulcinea asked.

"I can not get this stupid chain off!" He yelled causing a scene.

Uli looked down and had a worried look to Dulcinea.

"But, Señora Puss, there's nothing there..." he replied in worried tone.

"What?" He looked at Uli then back down and the chain disappeared.

'The heck?'
