It has now been a month. Everyone in town besides Puss has warmed up to Guy Fox and his charms. Guy Fox has defeated some Thieves along the way.

Puss was now pretty distant from everyone else. He hasn't even attacked Thieves who attack San Lorenzo because Guy Fox always was there. It is like he has senses when trouble is near. One warm evening Guy Fox was telling stories about the adventures he had when he left San Lorenzo. Everyone was interested and amazed by the fountain. Where Puss usually would talk and tell stories to orphans.

"So there I was! Thieves were trying to jump and take all my money! Did I let them? No! I did not! So I grabbed the nearest thing I could use as a weapon! Which was a broom. I remembered all the skills I have learned! Then I have won with the thieves running me crying!"

Everyone in the crowd cheered with smiles. The orphans you could see a sparkle of excitement in their eyes.

"Oh, Guy Fox! That was the most amazing thing I've heard!" Dulcinea said in her fangirl voice.

"Hehe yes, I am amazing sometimes!"

"Tell us another story, Guy Fox!" Toby exclaimed.

"Yeah!!" All the orphans replied. Guy Fox was about to open his mouth when the doors of the Cantina opened. Everyone shot their eyes to see Puss coming out of the Cantina. He had the dawzimg Rod in his left Paw over his shoulder. He looked around like he was looking for something. His eyes stopped at the San Lorenzians.

"Laddy...What are you doing with the Rod?" Pajuna asked in a frustrated tone.

"Probably stealing more treasure from towns!" Señora Zepatta said as she laughed very loudly.

Puss rolled his eyes and ignored what Pajuna asked. He took the rod in both his paws and observed it.

"Okay now, this is getting freaky..." Dulcinea said.

"Ginger...is not acting like...Ginger.."

"I'll say! Look at his boots!! There is tons of mud on them!! He is very protective over them..." Good Sword said.

"Uh...Puss!" Dulcinea shouted to get Puss's attention. He ignored her and focused on the rod. Uli came out and stood next to Puss.

"Well...did it work?"

"No...unfortunately not!" Puss said as he handed the rod back to Uli. Puss walked to the treasure house ignoring everyone.

"I say...that Laddy is definitely up to something...he hasn't talked to anyone besides Uli in a month.."

Dulcinea opened the doors to the treasure house and walked in.

"Puss?" she called out, she then walked and looked around for the orange cat, until her eyes landed on Puss placing the rod back in its place.

"Puss!" Dulcinea called out. Puss flinched and pulled on his sword pointing at Dulcinea as an instinct. Dulcinea put her arms up with a scared look on her face. Puss gave a sigh and shielded it. He was about to walk away.

"Puss wait!" Dulcinea grabbed Puss's Paw. He flinched again.

"What Dulcinea?" He asked in a frustrated tone.

"What was the sword in my face all about? I don't smell that bad!" Dulcinea giggled. Puss smiled a bit.

"No, it's just an instinct an adventurer has. Now I must get going-"

"Puss I know you don't like Guy Fox..."

Puss stopped in his tracks. His face was mad.

"HE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORSE!!" Puss shouted.
