Weeks of work at the library and adventuring in the TARDIS with Lila, Theodore's having one of the rare day-offs from both, and he's enjoying it with food from his favourite pub while watching the telly with his fur friends.
Lounging in his causal clothing, holding his pastrami sandwich with a smidge of mustard, Theodore munched on it while sipping on his drink in-between.
The ferrets dined on their chosen foods and they're watching the telly intently while deducing what's going to happen next.
They squeaked theories with each other while Theodore silently watched the old serial from a detective show from some time ago, long before his parents came to Earth for good.
Reaching for a napkin, Theodore wiped the the mustard off the side of his mouth as the scene started and the ferrets clamored near the telly while they watched.
After running for his life, dealing with half-witted Daleks, smart Daleks, first generation Cybermen, current generation Cybermen, authoritative Sontaran, scientific Sontaran, and then some, Theodore's happy that he's able to throw up his long legs on the couch after finishing his sandwich.
The TARDIS hadn't bothered him, so it's a good indication that he's able to spend the remainder of his day-off uninterrupted.
Enjoying the show with the ferrets, Theodore settled on his couch with his head turned to the screen, and content with his day.
His rent paid for the month, helped with Mrs. Thornton with some things, dealt with his brother, there's nobody needing him.
Despite that he'll have times where he can't take a day off, Theodore's not languishing at the thought, he'll simply enjoy what time he has. His father took the title in stride, even he said that there's no harm in taking breaks, and he took plenty of breaks.
Scratching the top of his head, his wild hair bouncing, Theodore yawns as he watched the detective make a deduction.
He thought he heard knocking, but thought it's coming from the telly, as there's a character knocking on the door, and as the scene transitioned, Theodore heard the knocking, again.
It's coming from his door.
Pushing himself up from the couch, he stretched as he felt his back popping while he let out a loud yawn.
Going towards the door, Theodore looked through the peephole, and for a moment, he didn't see anyone, but when he saw shadows moving outside his door, three, he blinked.
There's frantic knocking, now, and Theodore ended up opening his door half-way, but he's pushed backwards as three individuals ran through the doorway and one broke off to close the door behind.
It took only a moment before Theodore's brain caught up and he saw three individuals exhaling sharply as one looked through the peephole, afraid.
It's... the Samito?
"What... are... you... three... doing... here?" Theodore didn't have time for cordial, he's in his lounge clothes, his ferrets in hiding, and he's not about to have Samito ruin his day-off from his duties.
Reese blubbered as he exhaled sharply, his hair sticking to his forehead as he used his fingers to loosen them, "Ya gotta help us, Doc!"
Lambert sputtered, "We're being hunted!"
Jasper concurred with, "Oh yes, yes, he's frightful, sir!"
Coming from the Samito, Theodore's having a hard time not coming up with scathing replies, he's still sore with them trying to make a meal out of him, even if they learnt their lessons.
