"Rachell," Ray Mond heard an excited call out as she exited her dad— Vinny's apartment. She knew she should get one soon and was even saving up for it now that she finally got her very much awaited racing car; the NSX, but she was happy staying at his place till the time she didn't.
It was convenient for her and even made her feel secure. Not just because of Vinny being just a hallway away from her but also because of having her family so close by. She felt like she could help them too in times of need which she liked.
Vinny didn't mind the idea either. In fact, he quite liked it. He took pride in the fact that Ray felt comfortable and safe enough with him to move in, even if it is for a while. They both indeed have a father daughter relationship which both cherish and enjoy very much. Even during business, they both look out for each other.
Ray definitely liked having that father figure in Vinny to look up to, to share her accomplishments with, to simply vent to and someone she knew will always be there to back her up and help her in times of need. He had definitely proven times and times again that he cares for the girl like a daughter.
Just like when he spent half an hour at the PD to get her body pillow back, how he has always backed her during business, opening her up to more and more opportunities and even looking out for her health while doing so. They both knew they'd always be there for each other in all aspects and both of them respected that fact a lot.
Ray's face lit up as her gaze finally settled on her favorite person in the city— Randy Bullet. The one who has always been there for her, the one who has always looked out for her, tried to make her feel comfortable and at home with, not just him but his family too by welcoming her into it. Her mentor who has taught her almost everything she knows, her ride or die who has saved her countless times in tough times and the one who threatened to cut ties with close people just for her sake. The person she looks up to the most, the one she'd kill or die for without a second breath. The one she loves the most out of everybody in the city. The one who owns her heart..
"Hihi Randy," She smiled at him, passing him and walking over to the boys. "Hi Nicholas," She rolled her eyes as the others chuckled.
"You saying that legit makes no sense." Taco huffed in response to the name.
"Well, neither does Rachell, but you still call me it, don't you? Serves you right, I believe." She shrugged and giggles as she heard him huff again.
"Anyways," She diverted her attention back to the boys. "What are you guys up to?" She asked curiously. "Any banks?"
"No, no luck." Ramee sighed checking his phone to confirm his words. "We're having a bank drought lately." He laughed.
"That's so boring, can't we get prio or something?" She huffed. "I mean, we are CG, you know?" She insinuated with a playful grin.
"I mean, I can talk to Franny about this stuff but I'm not something will come out of it or not. Might just have to stick to houses and stuff for a while." Mr. K shrugged looking at the girl.
"I guess." She sighed before her face lit up again. "Well, atleast we can get stuff for you Mr. K!" She reminded everyone excitedly. "And," She added, pausing. "I have yet to pull out an ATM." She laughed.
"Wait, really? You haven't done it yet?" Curtis asked, his brows raised in surprise.
Ray shook her head. "No.." She frowned. "I had the chance to but I didn't.."
"What? Why?" Ramee asked her, curiosity lacing his soft voice.
"Well, Max and I were chopping cars and stuff, he told me he had one and we could do it but I just didn't feel very safe or comfortable doing it when Randy was away."
