📍1992; PITCAIRN ISLAND, SOUTH PACIFIC
˚ ༘♡ ·˚ ₊˚ˑ༄ؘ
Sun rose on the inhibited Pitcairn island in the middle of the South Pacific Ocean. Warm rays of sunshine caressed the greenery of the land mass. There was almost no sign of human life, except for a tiny house that was buried in the center of the forest of the island.
Vera stepped through the field of wheat in the backyard of the house, adjusting the sling bag she wore around her body.
Behind her, you walked out of the house in half sleepiness, waddling about lazily. You seemed to be around three years old, with Y/H/C unruly hair falling to your shoulder.
"Hi peanut," Vera scooped you in one arm and spun you around, making you giggle hysterically.
"Ready for breakfast?" your mother set you down and made a motion to grab something behind her back, summoning a glowing gold arrow and bow from thin air which was in an intricate design.
"Yes please," you mumbled, hugging her leg and nuzzling into it with drowzy eyes.

You were fast asleep in your bed while Vera was attending to the guest and was having dinner with her. There was a knock on the front door and Vera went to open the door, flicking her wrist with a cautious move and summoned a ball of gold mist within her palm.
"Vera," Thena smiled in greeting once the door was opened.
"Get out, Thena," Vera snapped instantly, "I gave up on Eternals a long time ago," she stated defiantly, "I don't give a shit about Arishem and his red ass," she grumbled, her voice thick with Sokovian accent. She pointed the golden sword threateningly at her throat.
Thena rolled her eyes, pushing aside the blade with her pointer finger."Yes, it's nice to see you too, my beloved sister,"
"I have a guest," Vera deadpanned.
"Frigga," Thena beamed at the Queen of Asgard over her shoulder, who was seated on the side of the table.
"Oh, Thena!" Frigga greeted in exclamation from the dining table, "Please, do join us, make yourselves at home,"
"I keep forgetting you both know each other," Vera muttered to herself, "Gil and his stupid spit-mead,"
"You know how Arishem threw me under the bus by turning me into a mortal and handed me to Chthon," Vera scoffed, "Just because he thought I was 'faulty' and 'not worth it," she scooped a spoonful of food from her plate, "That wardrobe-looking moron," she reverberated.
