"Right and this is supposed to watch over her powers," Bucky showed the suit tracker to Aaron and Mara. 

He had returned back to the estate, asking Mrs. Herbert for directions, and began explaining Nat's powers to Mara and Aaron.

"That's really cool," Mara muttered as she took hold of the tracker and went through the settings in them

The digital clock on the wall showed 10: 30 pm.

"Wasn't Mom supposed to be back home by now?" Mara thought out loud.

Bucky bit his tongue. The initial promise was to return on Christmas Eve. Which was today.

"I'm sure she'll be back, honey," he caressed her head with his head.

Suddenly, his phone began to ring and Bucky pulled it out of his pocket, swiping it to answer the call, and walked away from his children.

Mara headed back to her room, saying that she wanted to grab something, that left Natalie and Aaron in the living room.

"Sanctum Sanctorum— Y/N and Anya — Trapped—"

Aaron frowned as these words reached his ears and he noticed Bucky heading towards the room where all kinds of weaponry were kept.

"What's in the Sanctum Sanctorum?" Aaron yelled out his question, being the only one who had heard the conversation. He sighed aloud when he didn't get an answer from his father.

A couple of minutes later, Bucky walked past Aaron and Natalie, who were both seated on the floor in front of the couch in the living room. Aaron noticed Bucky hurry out, while Natalie was too busy, swiping and tapping on the tracker of her suit.

"I'll be back soon," he stuffed a pistol into the holster on his waist, "Mrs. Herbert will be here sooner. Stay safe and stay put,"

"Where are you going?" Aaron looked up from his sister, "And why are you fully armed?!" he raised his voice when Bucky walked out without a reply.

In one of the rooms of the mansion, Mara opened a drawer and found a couple of remote-access Kimoyo beads in a container. It had a note too:

She stuffed it back into the drawer when she heard Aaron walk into the room and leaned back against it.

Aaron opened a particular cabinet and pulled out a couple of suits fabricated with vibranium. One was gold-and-black, while the other was silver-and-black.
