"You do realize the mess you have done right?" Matt Murdock looked over at you from his place on the couch. He was looking over the charges against you for the crimes and murders you had committed during the Blip. You were seated across from him on an armchair as you had your cup of coffee.

"Of course, I do," you shrugged, "Why do you think I hired you—thanks, honey," you took the pen from Mara when she fetched it for you.

"That's why you chose me as your lawyer?" he set down the allegation documents aside, "From—"

"—Joanne Torress," you added, "You agreed to be my lawyer because you can have an upper hand,"

"What do you mean?" 

"Oh please," you waved a hand, "You knew you can use the 'superhero' gig against me in case you need something from me. And besides, only one superpowered individual can help another," you leaned forward, "That's right, I know your secret, Mr. Daredevil,"

Matt Murdock smirked in an impressed manner, "Got to know that from Joanne Torress too?"

"Eh, you're sloppier than you think," you mirrored his expression.

"Or, you're nosier than you get credit for," he shot right back at you.

"Or that," you grinned.

Aaron and Mara were playing catch with a foam soccer ball not too far away. Aaron hurled the ball too hard and too far away and it was about to hit Matt on the side of his head. But he caught it right before it collided with him.

"How did you just—" Mara stuttered, "Do that?"

"I'm a very good lawyer, kid," he glanced over at her, handing the soccer ball back to her.

"Stay outta trouble," Matt rose from his place, grabbing his walking stick.

"It's not like I go looking for trouble," you rolled your eyes at him.

"I find that hard to believe, Ms. L/N,"
