The couple rushed to the bridge, thanking the Gods that they were able to buy some time. No matter how short that amount of time may be. "Clear the bridge, escort the officers down to the hangar." Poe ordered, not stopping.

"Commander-- Captain Dameron," C-3PO stuttered, "Admiral Holdo was looking for you."

"Yeah, we spoke." Poe got in his respective seat, while Tate worked like hell on her feet behind him. The hangar's lights shut out, but a whizz of a laser drew their attention. "Seal that door!" Tate nodded, shutting it down. Nobody in, nobody out. "Threepio, where do you think you're going?"

"It would be quite against my programming to be party to a mutiny."

"Hey," Tate shouted at the robot, and he began muttering responses when the door began to burn a bright orange. "Finn, we're ready to make the jump!" She told him in the intercom. "I got left, you take right?" She nodded to Poe.

"Batter's up."

They got into their slightly clandestine positions, pointing their blasters at the corroding door. The two could hear the stormtroopers in their earbuds, looking at each other in worry. "They didn't make it." The doors blasted open, and they quickly drew their weapons. What neither party expected was through the smoke, to appear Leia. "Leia!" The two cheered, happy to have her back. Their General did not look amused nor happy, instead blasting them both against the wall.

Their unconscious bodies were settled into one of the cruisers, unbeknownst to them. Slowly, and groggily, Tate began to awake. She fell off the gurney, making sweet, raw contact with the floor. "Floor, meet face." She groaned, adjusting her jaw as she stood up. "Poe!" She pushed his body, making him jolt awake. Noticing where they were, their panic settled in.

"No, no, no!" They hit the windows, watching with pained expressions as they watched the ship leave them.

"Poe, Tate," Leia said, and the couple walked over to sit by Leia.

"What is that?" Poe asked, noticing the giant planet in the sky.
"The mineral planet, Crait." D'Acy responded. "An uncharted hideout from days of the Rebellion."

"That's a rebel base?" Tate scoffed in shock and awe.

"Abandoned, but heavily armored with enough power to get a distress signal to our allies scattered in the Outer Rim."

"Holdo knew the First Order was tracking our big ship. They're not monitoring for little transports."

"So we could slip down to the surface unnoticed and hide till the First Order passes. That could work."

"She was more interested in protecting the light," Leia grabbed onto the small beacon wrapped around Tate's wrist, "than she was seeming like a hero." Tate and Poe's face faltered, knowing they deserved that jab. Their attention was diverted to the ships being blown outside. They instantly rushed up to the pilots, their domain.
