BB8 chirped, and Rey crouched down as they sifted something from the sand. It seemed to be some sort of a dagger, or at least a small sword. "Horrible things," Rey whispered, as she seemed to be able to communicate with it, "Have happened with this."

"There's writing on it," Poe pointed out.

"Perhaps I can translate," C-3PO took the weapon in his mechanical hands, "Oh. The location of the wayfinder, has been inscribed upon this dagger. It's the clue that Master Luke was looking for."

"And?"

"Where's the wayfinder?"

C-3PO turned, "I am afraid I cannot tell you."

"Twenty-point-three fazillion languages, you can't read that?" Poe scoffed.

"Oh, I have read it, sir. I know exactly where the wayfinder is. Unfortunately, it is written in the runic language of the Sith."

"So what?" Rey asked.

"My programming forbids me from translating it."

"So, you're telling us the one time we need you to talk, you can't?"

"Irony, sir." C-3PO didn't seem to truly understand their frustrations, but Tate could sympathize with the fact that he didn't have genuine human emotions. "I am mechanically incapable of speaking translations from Sith. I believe the rule was passed," Tate blocked out his words, a ginormous creature was rising from its rest behind the robot. BB8 beeped frantically, Tate pulling out her blaster pistol and aiming it at the unknown creature. "Serpent! Serpent! Serpent!" The robot shouted.

It hissed, rattling its tail in warning. Rey motioned for Tate and Poe to lower their guns, and they followed her silent order. Finn took her lightsaber, and slowly came to the serpent. "Rey," Finn warned. It continued hissing, and when Rey took another step forward, it snarled. The duo were quick to bring their guns back up. It didn't matter that Rey was trying to calm the creature down, it was dangerous to all of them, and Tate wasn't willing to risk anybody's life on it.

It continued its hissing, but Rey noticed the wound marks. "I'm gonna blast it," Poe concluded.

"Wait." Tate nodded to Rey, who took a little intake of breath for confidence. She was nervous. She lowered herself, her hand gently covering the wound. Slowly, its body began to mend together, and while it was a peaceful moment, Tate couldn't help but wince a little at the visceral site. The serpent moved, its body slithering away and showing an opening.

Chewbacca pocketed the dagger, as they all moved out of the sand burrows. They headed toward Ochi's ship, much to C-3PO's dismay. "We cannot fly in that wreck."

"We need to keep moving." Poe told the bot, "Find someone who can translate that dagger. Like a helpful droid."

"I suggest we return to the Millennium Falcon at once." He tried demanding.

"They'll be waiting for us at the Falcon."
