We picked five of our best.

First it was Jesse his turn. He scored. 1-0.

Now it was Icelands turn. 1-1.

Guy scored. 2-1.

Iceland turn but Goldberg stopped it. 2-1.

Dwayne's turn. Got blocked by Iceland. 2-1

Icelands turn. 2-2.

My turn. I was nervous. I did some tricks and.... Scored! 3-2.

Icelands turn again. 3-3.

Adams turn.... He rotated his wrist to see if everything was okay. "You can do it! I love you." I yelled from the bench. The puck went in. 4-3!

Coach sent Julie out on the ice for the last shoot out against Gunnar Stahl. "You can do it Julie!" Me and Connie said. Gunnar skated towards Julie. He shot and.... Julie caught it. THE DUCKS WIN!

Everyone gathered on the ice and hugged and celebrated. I skated to Adam and hugged him.

"I love you Ki." He said sweetly.

I blushed. "I love you Adam." I placed my lips on his. The team pulled us in a group hug.

I felt hands on my shoulders so I turned to see my parents. Tears of happiness formed in my eyes.

"Hey sweetie." Das said.

"Great game!" Mom agreed.

I hugged them.

"O my god you guys are here! Where is grandpa?" I asked.

Dad sighed. "He isn't doing very well so he stayed home."

My heart dropped. "Oh... well I'm happy you guys are here." I hugged them again.

"We should go celebrating with the whole team. Maybe coach, Jan, Don and Michelle can come to." My mom suggested.

Back at the hotel, I showered and changed into a white t-shirt with black cargo pants and my white converse. My mom had the idea to go eating with the team. I told my parents that Mel's was a great restaurant so we reserved there.

We went with the whole team in a bus with my parents, coach, Mckay, Jan and mr.Tibbles. It was fun. We did karaoke and talked about the game. I sat next to Adam who had his arm wrapped around me.

"So why isn't Hans here?" He asked.

"Uhmm he's still sick so..." I sighed.

"I'm sorry Ki." Charlie said behind us.

"It's okay. Let's just have fun now!" I said.

My attention went to Averman, Goldberg, Dean and Fulton who were singing Bohemain Rhapsody, it was one of my favorite songs of Queen, with Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy. I started singing it with them.

A while later we arrived at the restaurant. We all ordered food and drinks. I had a burger with french fries and a coke.

After eating, we did some more karaoke with the team. Julie, Connie and me sang some Mamma Mia songs and Olivia Rodrigo while the boys did Queen and One Direction. Fulton and Dean sang some kind of rock song none of us knew.

Then Adam putted on a song. It's the Taylor Swift song we danced to the first time we kissed. We also danced to it after the whole Sophia thing.

"Can I get this dance." Adam stuck out his.

I took it and stood up facing him. "Of course." I smiled.

Song text
Friends break up, friends get married
Strangers get born, strangers get buried
Trends change, rumors fly through new skies
But I'm right where you left me
Matches burn after the other
Pages turn and stick to each other
Wages earned and lessons learned
But I, I'm right where you left me
Help, I'm still at the restaurant
Still sitting in a corner I haunt
Cross-legged in the dim light
They say, "What a sad sight"
I, I swear you could hear a hair pin drop
Right when I felt the moment stop
Glass shattered on the white cloth
Everybody moved on
I, I stayed there
Dust collected on my pinned-up hair
They expected me to find somewhere
Some perspective, but I sat and stared
Right where you left me
You left me no, oh, you left me no
You left me no choice but to stay here forever
You left me, you left me no, oh, you left me no
You left me no choice but to stay here forever
Did you ever hear about the girl who got frozen?
Time went on for everybody else, she won't know it
She's still 23 inside her fantasy
How it was supposed to be
Did you hear about the girl who lives in delusion?
Break-ups happen every day, you don't have to lose it
She's still 23 inside her fantasy
And you're sitting in front of me
At the restaurant, when I was still the one you want
Cross-legged in the dim light, everything was just right
I, I could feel the mascara run
You told me that you met someone
Glass shattered on the white cloth
Everybody moved on
Help, I'm still at the restaurant
Still sitting in a corner I haunt
Cross-legged in the dim light
They say, "What a sad sight"
I, I stayed there
Dust collected on my pinned-up hair
I'm sure that you got a wife out there
Kids and Christmas, but I'm unaware
'Cause I'm right where
I cause no harm, mind my business
If our love died young, I can't bear witness
And it's been so long
But if you ever think you got it wrong
I'm right where you left me
You left me no, oh, you left me no
You left me no choice but to stay here forever
You left me
You left me no, oh, you left me no
You left me no choice but to stay here forever

After the song, he kissed me.

We sat in the plane back to Minnesota. My parents had an early flight so they were already home. I sat by the window with Connie and Julie. We talked about what we're going to do when we're back in Minnesota.

I was still worried about my grandpa. My parents said he's home but still not feeling good. What if he's so sick that he can't get better. My grandpa is the only family I have left, beside my parents. But because my parents are actors they travel a lot. So every time they're not home, I'm alone with grandpa. He means everything to me.
