He wandered into the forest.
The blood trail followed after him.
He somehow doesn't remember what happened.
He's trying to get home...

Flashback
There was a call in the middle of the night.
He answered and hurried to the cabin in the woods.
It was a familiar yet very unfamiliar voice...it was threatening.
He arrived at the house and went inside, he was somewhat terrified.
He went to the wrong cabin but he didn't know it at the time.
He saw something, no someone, in his bed...
He wondered how he never realized what it was.
He didn't come to any conclusions other than he was still very tired.
He happened to fall asleep, on the couch, after leaving and locking the room.
He, unknowingly, got up a couple of hours later.
He went into the cabin's kitchen and found the sharpest knife he could.
He gripped it in his hand tightly.
He walked towards the stranger's room, dragging the knife along the wall.
He opened the door that he locked when he left the room the first time.
He slowly walked towards the bed.
He stops.
Then, slowly, his hands come up with the knife.
SLAM!
SLAM!
SLAM!
SLAM!
The sound of the knife piercing the person's body, over and over again.
Their surprised screams as they realized what was occurring.
Slowly, their screams quietened as the knife got stabbed into their hearts for a final time.
They didn't know what happened until it was too late.
He left the knife at the bloody crime scene.
He was still tired so he went back to sleep.
He got up in a major panic thinking what occurred was a dream until he saw his bloody clothes and remembered the jarring screams of the person who called to threaten him.
He stared at himself in the mirror, he was completely horrified.
Again?!?
He already knew the drill so he got up and hurried to leave the cabin, not forgetting the murder weapon.

He pretended not to remember what happened so if anyone asked, he'd be okay.
He just didn't realize just how much of a bloody trail he left behind himself.
