Social media is a major curse to society.
Seriously, think about it.
When someone wants to find you, all they have to do is search you up.
Boom! You're found!
Think of a child's picture on a site where paedophiles can save and share.
Heck, they don't even have to look that far because a variety of pictures to choose from are already there.
Thinking about this is very disgusting and disturbing. Parents, please don't post your children, especially their location.
Social media is neither here nor there. Trust me, it's really not all that known.
They watch you sleep, they watch you eat.
Maybe, they're even staring at you right now but you cannot see.
Social media's not that social, trust me.
It makes it easier for you to get bullied. It shatters your confidence completely.
That is, unfortunately, how they receive their money.
By breaking down a young child's mind, forcing them into an addicting place that they cannot escape.
Sucking you dry of your individuality, your sacred identity.
Your peace and your prosperity.
They know more about you than even your own family does, your friends.
It's all stuck on the dark web, the cloud, in History.
It's not exactly friendly.
What you put out, stays out. No matter if you try deleting.
Isn't that hopelessly terrifying?
Social media's not that social, trust me.
I've heard a real-life story of a man finding a woman's location because of the building's reflection in her eyes.
He was stalking her for months.
Imagine realizing that your own picture leads to your disaster?
She told him, no but he was the type not to take that for an answer.
He used a "social app" to control, manipulate, to terrify.
Please, can you tell me why?
Social media's not that social, trust me.
Remember when you have to download and confirm a lot before you can sign in to an app?
How many of you actually take the time to read the fine print?
You're basically signing your life away.
Isn't that horrifying?
They can check your entire reality and broadcast or sell if they so choose.
Your name, your location, even the things you "try" to hide.
They market it as safe and sound.
Please, miss me with that utterly lying bullsh*t.
They say, "It makes it easier for you to connect or re-connect with your friends and family..."
While this is true, the lies sometimes outweigh the facts. Or the pros and cons.
Trust me, social media's not that social.
Don't get me started on the catfishing scenes, it's completely awful.
Imagine being a 15-year-old girl who thinks she's talking to a 16-year-old boy, instead, it turns out to be a 40-year-old creep.
Think about them trying to meet...the dangers of social media are very real.
Social media's not that social, trust me.
