Elijah's POV

I was woken by the delicious smell of food. Once I opened my eyes, I didn't see Val beside me, but I could smell her strawberry scent. I fully opened my eyes to check what time it was. "7 AM? I normally wake up at 5!"

I got up and went downstairs to check who was cooking this early.

"Take me by the tongue and I'll show you," I heard a feminine voice in the kitchen. I peeked and saw her swaying her hips with a spoon in her hand, spinning here and there. "Kiss me till you're drunk and I'll show you. You want the moves like Jagg—AAAH!" she screamed at the end.

"What the—tinakot mo ako!" she glared at me. I giggled at her cuteness.

"I've got the moves like Jagger," I teased while she still glared at me.

"So, you'll make me drunk and do all sorts of stuff?" I joked.

"No! Part lang 'yon ng kanta," she denied as I laughed.

"Now, what is this pregnant lady doing here this early? And I didn't know you could sing."

"I made us breakfast, and ang aga mo yatang magising."

"I always wake up at 5 AM, but I guess not today," I sighed, making my way to the table where the food was placed.

"Mmm, I haven't had eggs and hotdogs in a while," I inhaled the delicious smell.

"What do you mean?" she asked.

"I eat out, or sometimes I don't eat," I admitted. I only told her this.

"Ano!?" she yelled. "Would you want our baby to not have a father?" she added. It was cute.

"Pinatay mo na agad ako? Okay, I'll eat regularly for both of you," I said as I reached her flat stomach and caressed it.

"Ikaw din, Mommy, you need to eat a lot for me," I said, looking into her eyes.

"What time do you go to work?" she asked, speaking fluently.

"8 AM is my usual time."

"8 AM tapos nagigising ka ng 5? What are you?" she gasped.

"I just do stuff earlier."

"Ikaw ba, what time do you go to work?" I asked.

"8 AM din," she answered hesitantly.

"Great, ihahatid na kita," she nodded.

Valerie's POV

"Ingat ka sa work," said Elijah while helping me out of the car. He was getting a bit overprotective.

"Ikaw din," I said with a smile.

We stood in front of the clinic where I had my interview before. He suddenly cupped my cheeks and kissed my lips.

"Elij! Bakit mo ginawa 'yon?" I asked, weirded out. He just kissed me out of the blue and then smiled.

"Bakit?"

"Hindi pa kita sinasagot. Wag kang feeling, noh." I grabbed my bag from the car.

"Say yes na! I'm my child's father, okay? I want to give him/her a perfect family," he said innocently while holding my shoulders.

I wanted that too, but I was playing hard to get. I wanted to prove that he would love me too.
