"Valerie hija!"ang mataas na boses ni mommy ang bumungad sa akin habang ako'y tulog.

"How are you anak?" umupo siya sa dulo ng kama ko habang nakangiti.

"I'm fine mommy" sagot ko sakanya.

"Mrs.Meyers, breakfast is ready" The maid who just entered my room said and immediately went out.

"Come on anak you need to wake up it's your graduation day! And I am so proud to be the mother of this lady right here who is the top of her block" mommy day dreamed and started shaking me

"Mommy that's later pa can you chill I'm still sleepy!"I groaned. Mommy cant just keep quiet cant she.

"Oh come on it's already 6:30 am"

"too earlyyyy!"i whined.

"Valerie Meyers!" her voice sounded intimidating.

Scary.

"Okay okay" I sat down and groaned.

"Such beautiful lady my love" she admired me and stood up.

"Come down in ten minutes.Let's have breakfast together"I nodded and she went out my room.

I just groaned and fixed myself in my bathroom. I looked at my reflection and stared at the scar that was left above my right eyebrow,which was in my forehead. I hate that so bad!

I got it 4 years ago when mommy told me I got into an accident. I literally can't remember a single thing! But when she took me home and asked me if i can remember things now, I just told her that I know my name,age and all the basic information i had, and that i wanted to become a veterinarian that was all i wanted.The others, blank and black.

So she let me pursue what i wanted to do and enrolled me in the best veterinary school which i was glad i didn't have to start over again and just continued it. And today is my graduation day which like mommy said, i was the top.

I went down the stairs to see mom and dad now in the dining table.

"Good morning mommy,daddy"I greeted them and sat down.

"Good morning sweetie" Dad replied,so did mom.

"So i will be a bit late on your day today Val, I just need to take care of something at the company today" Daddy started a conversation.

I nodded. "Sure dad"

" I wont be too late maybe just in time"He said again.

"Come on hon, its okay do your thing and ill take care of our princess right here" Mommy smiled and caressed my hair.

Dad smiled at us and nodded. I wanted dad to go to but I think he really is busy and besides he would be in time right?Yeah.

"Valerie,let me do your make up love" Mommy walked towards me and I let her do what she wanted.

"Mommy I don't want the red lipstick you're holding, its to dark!"I whined and she laughed.

"Okay then how bout gloss?" she asked.

"Much better! I mean my lips is already pink can't you see?" I sarcastically rolled my eyes.

"Yeah whatever love" She applied my favorite gloss which they gave me.

"Fix your hair Val and meet me downstairs we need to leave we might be late." I nodded and got my curling iron.

Mom wanted to hire a stylist but i disagreed I wanted to do it myself although they are already rich.

My graduation is already done I gave them a fucking 5 minute speech and thankfully that went well. Mom and dad we're so proud of me which made them throw a grad party. And also mommy told me that dad was the one who prepared it and that was the one he went to early morning.

"Oh anak we're so proud of you even though you didnt take business as your course." she smiled and kissed my cheek. Yeah they wanted me to take business but I wanted vetmed and they agreed. They told me that I was the only one who would inherit their company that's why.

"Mom!!" she laughed.

"Lets go?" me and mom nodded.

"Well Valerie you are turning 26 what do you want to do on your birthday?" Daddy asked while driving.

"Nothing much pa dad but I really want to have my own clinic after I pass the board exams" I dreamed of that since i continued my dreams.

"Well we already have your clinic and that serves as your grad gift, but I think its going to be your birthday gift now " mom shrieked. They are so happy right now. But wait what?! My...Own... Clinic??? Ackkkkk!

"Really really really?!!!" I was amazed and both my parents laughed on how I was acting.

"Yes love"she laughed again when i kissed her cheek. also dad.

"But mom you told me we were from the Philippines right?" I asked and she nodded.

"Can we make one more clinic there?"I gave them my puppy eyes.

"B-but don't you want it here?" Dad said.

"Ofcourse I do but i just want it to be in the Philippines" I said.

Mom's smile grew wider.huh?

"Oh great! cause the clinic we built is in the Philippines! We're permanently staying there after your board exams!"I shrieked and hug them!

"My dream mommy!" I smiled. "But what do you mean permanently?" My smile faded.

"Our new business is located in the Philippines sweetie and my brother will be the one taking care of our business here in New York and I know you don't want to inherit our company so i gave one of ours to my brother since his son is taking business."I nodded and look at them with shyness.

"I'm sorry mom dad if I didn't take business" Mom looked at me.

"No honey its okay.You can own the company and just hire someone who could manage the company hmm" I feel ashamed. They are the best!

A few months later and I am now taking the board exam.After 4 days I received my results and guess what? I passed!!! I'm going yo the Philippines!
