Chat had finished with another mission as he was making his way home but his stomach rumbled since he hadn't eaten anything at breakfast so he decided to stop by at Marinette's place and get something to eat at her parent's bakery. As Chat walked to the bakery, he saw someone rush pass him and they entered the bakery, leaving him confused as to why the person was rushing.

After a minute or two the person exited the bakery eating a croissant as they thanked the person at the counter for giving it to them and he walked into the bakery. Marinette was wiping the countertop as she seemed to be exhausted but when she looked up to see Chat entering, her face lit up and she smiled at him.

"Hey, Princess. How are you?" Chat asked Marinette as he noticed her looking tired and he wanted to make sure that she was alright. Marinette nods as she places the rag that she was using to clean the countertop away before she came back to ask what Chat needed and hoped that it wasn't a huge order.

"I'm alright Chat. Just extremely exhausted since there were so many customers today than expected but other than that I'm doing pretty well. Anyways what can I get you? A cupcake?" Marinette replied as Chat was trying to see through the display of food to find any croissants but he didn't see any and he looked up to ask Marinette if there were any leftover.

"Are there any croissants left? I really wanted to have one but it seems like there aren't any left. Do you have any leftover?" Chat questioned as his stomach rumbled again and he chuckled nervously at what happened which caused Marinette to laugh a bit. She didn't expect him to be really hungry but she didn't mind it one bit that his stomach rumbled like that since it can be an embarrassing thing to happen at times so she understood.

"Sorry Kitty but there was a person who came before you and I gave out the last croissant. I'm so sorry, I didn't know that any more customers were going to come. I can make a batch of croissants just for you and hopefully that'll make it up to you," Marinette told Chat as he wondered if he could help her make the croissants but she didn't want to cause any trouble, though Chat insisted to help and she agreed to let him help.

They both began to make a fresh batch of croissants as Marinette did most of the work since she knew the recipe but Chat helped with what he could and after placing the tray of croissants they make into the oven, they both talked to each other while waiting for the timer to chime so that they could take out the croissants. Marinette glanced at the timer as there was another five minutes to go until the twenty minute time was up and Chat was talking about his day after Marinette told him about hers.

"So then I laughed at my own pun while Ladybug groaned in annoyance but when she understood the pun she ended up laughing. I knew she would like my puns some day and yesterday was that day," Chat told Marinette as she laughed at his new pun that he stated after finishing the conversation and the timer chimed.

Marinette opened the oven as she had her mitten on her hands and she carefully pulls out the well baked croissants from the oven, placing them in a box but leaves two out for them both to eat. Closing the box, Chat room the croissant from the tray after it cooled down and he took a bit from it while Marinette did the same.

"These croissants are absolutely delicious," Chat stated as Marinette nods in agreement while she took another few bites of her croissant and finishes it, Chat doing the same thing. Marinette handed the other freshly baked croissants that were in the box as Chat thanked her and she thanked him for helping her make them with her.
