~15: Comedy~

She wasn't feeling like her usual self lately but Chat decided to change that and help his friend laugh because he didn't want to see her upset anymore. Marinette wasn't smiling as she watched Chat's attempts to make her even crack a smile but none of it was working and she just wanted him to give up on his attempt to cheer her up.

"Stop it Chat! None of what you're doing has made me laugh so why are you still trying? Just leave me alone already!" Marinette told Chat with an angry tone as she was frustrated at him and she just wanted him to stop but he wasn't going to give up until he made Marinette laugh. He missed her warm smile when Chat would come to visit her or when she would laugh when she was being tickled by him but she had suddenly stopped showing those emotions.

"I'm not going to give up on you Princess. Not until I make you laugh or at least smile again because I miss seeing you have a smile," Chat replied back as he was going to move onto his last resort and he hoped that it'll work otherwise he's out of options. Chat knew that Marinette liked his puns to some extent so he was going to tell a couple of his puns.

Marinette had her back facing Chat as she had her head on a pillow but she heard Chat call her name and she looked up to see what he was going to try to do this time. She didn't know why he was so bothered by making her smile again but she decided to see what his next attempt was going to be. Chat took a deep breath before he started with his puns while Marinette just sighed and wanted him to get whatever he was going to do over as soon as possible.

"What's wrong Purrincess? You're not laughing when I try to make you smile," Chat asked as he grinned and waited for any reaction from Marinette but all she did was sigh in annoyance. Marinette had lots of thoughts in her mind at what Chat was possibly trying to do; so this was it? This was his attempt to make her smile? Puns? Just great. These were the things that Marinette was currently thinking when Chat made that cat pun but it wasn't going to stop there.

"Meowuch Princess. Giving me the silent treatment? That isn't like meow," Chat continued as Marinette's lips curved upwards and before Chat knew it she let out a chuckle which then turned into full out laughter, making Chat extremely glad that Marinette was back to herself again.

"Okay okay. You've made me laugh Chat," Marinette replied as she continued to laugh and Chat laughed alongside her. He really wasn't lying when he told Marinette that he missed her laughter and her smile but now he didn't have to miss it anymore since he had made her laugh once again.

"You have to admit that I was clawsome Marinette and I made you laugh again," Chat replied as Marinette continued to laugh and they both continued to laugh at Chat's puns. Even though at first Marinette used to absolutely despise Chat's puns and call them lame, overtime she had realised that at times they were actually funny.

"I admit that they were funny Chat and you were clawsome at making me laugh again. For that I'm really grateful to have you as my friend and I was able to laugh once again. I'm sorry for being all cranky and rude to you before. I didn't mean to. It's just I've had times where I've been busy and exhausted. Anyways laughing once again made me feel really better. Once again thank you so much Kitty," Marinette explained to Chat as he hugged her and he was happy that his puns were her favourite type of comedy.

"No problem Princess. I'm just grateful that I was able to get you to laugh again and I know that things can get hard sometimes but you have to remember that I will be here to make you smile if you're feeling down. After all my puns are your favourite type of comedy," Chat replied as Marinette smiled and hugged him, knowing that he would be there for her no matter what happens.
