Chat was running away from a crowd of fans who wanted to have his autograph but he didn't want to stay around because he knew how some of them would act and he didn't need anyone being toxic with him. He was in a disguise as he wore a dark blue hoodie, a cap to hide his cat ears, wore sunglasses, took off his bell and hid his tail so people wouldn't try to catch up to him. He was jumping from rooftop to rooftop as he was now far away from his crazy fans and he was glad that he was able to get away.

It wasn't often that Chat wore disguises but today was one of those days that he needed to be wearing one. Currently, Chat had landed on Marinette's rooftop as he knocked on the window and when she saw him wearing a disguise, she was shocked but couldn't contain her laughter.

"Chat what are you wearing? I'm sorry but oh my gosh you look hilarious," Marinette told him as she finished laughing while Chat just rolled his eyes at her and she let him inside. Closing the window after he came in, Marinette wondered why he was in disguise and who he was trying to hide from.

Removing the items that he wore to cover himself so that he wouldn't be recognised, Chat puts his bell back and takes his tail out that he tucked in. Chat sighed to himself as he managed to get away from his fans and from any negativity that could've occurred if he stayed. He didn't need any more things happening in his life since he had other things to worry about and he didn't need anymore stress.

Sure his fans were really supportive but others just aren't and he feels extremely hurt at the things that they've mentioned to others. Pushing aside his thoughts for now, Chat sat on Marinette's bed and he was tired from the running that he did but he had to answer Marinette's previous question and possible questions that she may have.

"I sorry for barging in, Princess but I had to get away from my fans so I wore a disguise so that I wouldn't be found out and you might be wondering why I was running away from them. Well some of those fans aren't really my fans as they hate on me and say things like I'm not a good hero like Ladybug or I'm just Ladybug's sidekick," Chat answered as Marinette was in shock and felt extremely terrible for laughing so she immediately apologised but Chat told her that it was alright.

"I'm so sorry for laughing at you before Chat. It was childish of me for laughing but don't let what those people say get you down because there are fans out that who know that you're a awesome hero and Ladybug would never call her partner a sidekick. Just know that you're doing a better job than those people who think you're not a good hero because you're saving them and I bet they could never do what you could do," Marinette replied as Chat didn't realise that he was crying at her words.

Marinette pointed it out as she was about to give him a hug but Chat hugged her first and they stayed close to each other for a few minutes while Chat repeatedly saying thank you to Marinette for her inspiring words but she told him that she didn't do much and just helped him realise that haters were always going to hate so there's no need to ever listen to them.

They separated from their hug as Marinette used her index fingers to wipe away Chat's tears and he gave her a small smile which made her smile too. Chat was feeling better than before as he was able to express his feelings to his best friend but something deep inside him wanted to confess to his true feelings to Marinette, though he decided to confess them some other time.

"Thank you so much for comforting me Princess. I'm so glad that you were here to listen to me and comfort me when I needed it," Chat admitted as he didn't expect a disguise to help him (in a way) to get comfort and to be honest he really was grateful that Marinette was there for him when he needed her the most.
