~24: Pantheon/Mythology AU~

Author's note: I decided to do a Mythology Au since I feel like I could write better for this Au than the other one so if you're wondering why then that's my answer. Anyways I've never done this sort of Au before so I don't know how it'll turn out but I hope you all enjoy it nonetheless.

He was the Cat God of Death and Destruction while she was the Goddess of Spring as well as Creation so who  knew that such vast differences could make them fall in love with one another? Chat Noir never expected to have feelings for Marinette as they were both polar opposites of of another and he thought that a relationship between them would never work but his heart was yearning to be with her because he had feelings for her.

Chat made his way through the palace where Marinette lived as his cloak that he wore trailed behind him and he saw her in a room, looking out of the window. He knocks on the door before he enters as Marinette turns around to see him and she is both shocked but glad to see Chat even though she wasn't supposed to be seeing the God of Destruction.

"Chat? What are you doing here? We're not supposed to be seen together. What if someone catches us? You'll be in serious trouble and-," Marinette began to say but Chat gently pulled her towards him into an embrace and he hugs her. Right now he didn't care about being caught or the consequences as he only cared about being with her even though she was the Goddess of Creation and Spring.

"None of the matters to me right now, Princess because I only want to be with you. I don't care about any stupid consequences or getting into trouble because I just want to be with the person I love," Chat replied as Marinette's eyes widen when she hears him admit his feelings towards her but she isn't at all angry at him because she felt the same way about him.

Chat leaned closer to Marinette as their lips were just a few centimetres from each other as he waits for her approval before he continued and when she nods he presses his lips against hers. He wraps his arms around her waist as Marinette kisses back and the two separate a minute later. Marinette leans her head on Chat's chest as she could hear his steady heartbeat and she couldn't help but smile because she was with the person she loved.

"You know what? I don't care about the consequences either because I've realised that I love you too Chat and even though we're opposites of one another, there is love between us. I don't want any of the other Gods or Goddesses to ever try to destroy our love," Marinette told Chat as they both separate from the hug after kissing one more time and then separating from the kiss afterwards.

A knock from the door could be heard as it made Chat jump as Marinette told him to hide quickly and once he was hidden, Marinette's parents came into the room. She wondered what was going on as her parents had something to their daughter before they had to go.

"Sorry for disturbing you Marinette but your mother and I are going to go out for a month or two to meet up with some of the Gods and Goddesses to discuss a few things so I want you to take care. See you when we come back," Tom, Marinette's dad, told her before her parents left her room and Marinette closed the door while Chat came out from his hiding place.

He gives Marinette a quick peck on the lips as she smiled and she sighed to herself because she was keeping a huge secret hidden from her parents but she had to since she didn't want Chat to get into trouble for being with her. Chat was also feeling the same way as Marinette but their love with genuine and maybe someday they will tell everyone their relationship but they were going to wait until they were ready.

"Our love maybe be forbidden in the eyes of the other Gods and Goddesses but we both know that isn't the case since we have strong feelings for one another," Chat told Marinette as he gave her a quick kiss on the cheek before he left and went home. They were going to fight for their right to be in love no matter the odds against them.
