~13: DayDream~

Marinette couldn't help but think about him everyday but today was different as it was the first time that she wasn't paying attention in class and she was daydreaming about him again. When she wasn't doing anything, Marinette would just daydream about Chat Noir as she would have daydreams where they would go on dates but she never that would never actually happen. 

A knock from her window made Marinette snap out of her thousandth daydream that day as she went to open the window when she saw Chat who seemed to be tired after a mission and he immediately came in before Marinette closed the window. Chat went over to Marinette's bed as he flops down onto it and he let out a small yawn while covering his mouth.

"Chat? Are you alright? You seem really tired," Marinette questioned as she wondered if he was alright and he didn't exhaust himself while finishing a mission. She really cared about him as even though she would daydream about their possible dates, Marinette wouldn't let them from stop her from caring about Chat. Maybe she was slowly falling in love with the hero but she pushed away those thoughts for now.

"I'm just tired after a mission I had with Ladybug but I'm alright," Chat replied as Marinette was relieved that he didn't overwork himself to exhaustion and she decided to let him stay so that he could rest. Chat was fine with the idea as he didn't want to go all the way back to his house and he would probably end up getting too tired than he already is.

"So what have you been doing, Princess?" Chat asked as Marinette tried to think up a lie to tell him because she didn't want him to know that she had been daydreaming about him and to be called a strange person but she ended up muttering what she didn't want to say.

"Just been daydreaming about possible dates with you," Marinette muttered to herself as she had really hoped that Chat didn't hear a word that she just uttered but he heard what she had muttered and he was blushing slightly since he hadn't really expected Marinette to be daydreaming about him. She would daydream about going on possible dates with him? Did she fall in love with him or something? These questions that Chat had needed to be answered as he was going to find out what was going on.

"You've been daydreaming about me? Are you in love with me or something? You can tell me anything, Princess and I won't judge you at all," Chat told Marinette as it was her turn to start blushing and she felt her heartbeat quicken slightly at the nervousness that she had but she took a deep breath before she gave Chat an answer.

"Yes Chat I've been daydreaming about you and I know that you might find it a pathetic thing for me to do. I just couldn't help but daydream about you and I think I may have fallen in love with you. You probably don't feel the same way or just think I'm a weirdo so it's fine," Marinette replied as Chat wasn't at all angry with her and honestly he understood what she had told him.

"Wow I never really expected that from you Princess but to be honest with you I do the same thing. I daydream about you too and I found it to be embarrassing since I haven't told you before but I just had to tell you after you told me that you've been daydreaming about me. Also I think I have fallen in love with you too," Chat admitted as Marinette was surprised by what she had heard but they both seem to have found love for one another.

Chat sat up as they both were inching closer and closer to each other, their lips almost touching one another while their heartbeats started to beat a bit faster. Marinette leaned closer to Chat as her lips crashed to his lips and the two found themselves kissing each other while Chat touches Marinette's cheek with his right hand before the two pulled away from their kiss.

Who knew that a small thing between two best friends would lead them to being closer than ever before? Maybe Chat and Marinette could go on dates that they both daydreamed about. Their daydreams could come a reality sometimes soon but that's a story for another time.
