Marichat MAYhem 2022

~29: Cuddles~

Author's note: 2 more days until Marichat MAYhem is coming to an end and stay tuned for the epilogue where I will be announcing something special that I have in store after this book. Anyways I hope you all enjoy the chapter.

"Marinette. You should take a break from all the work you've been doing," Chat suggested to his girlfriend as she had been working on a new outfit and had only taken two breaks during the time she was busy. Marinette finished doing the last detail on her new outfit as she sighed and stretched her arms out. She got up from her desk as she went to her boyfriend and she snuggles with him.

"Can we do our usual cuddling session please? I really need to relax after all the work I've been doing and it would be very helpful for me. Please Chat?" Marinette told him as he nods and wraps his arms around her waist, pulling her closer to him while she rested her head on his chest. They would love doing little things like this from time to time because it helped them to relax and enjoy each other embrace.

Chat moved his right hand away as he used it to twirl a strand of Marinette's hair while she smiled since she liked it when he would play with her hair and he let go of it after a few minutes. He inhaled the sweet scent from Marinette's hair as she had showered an hour ago during her break and she currently had it open.

"Does my hair seem to be getting longer Chat? I should get a haircut soon," Marinette asked as her hair had gotten slightly longer than it was previously and she wanted to get it cut soon. Chat agreed but told her to have it cut tomorrow and she turned around so that she could cuddle her boyfriend properly since she was uncomfortable in her previous position.

A crack of thunder came from outside her bedroom window as Marinette jumped slightly at the scare and Chat noticed so he rubbed her back to calm her down while she held onto him but made sure that her grip wasn't too tight since she didn't want to end him hurting him. Droplets of rain descended down the window as another crack of thunder was heard which made Marinette repeat the action she did before and a small whimper escaped from her mouth.

"Are you alright Mari? Don't worry the thunder won't last long and will be over in a couple of minutes so I'll keep you company until you're feeling better," Chat soothingly told her as she nods and a few more crackles of thunder came one by one which startled her but Chat continued to held his girlfriend to keep calm.

A couple of minute later the thunder had ceased as Marinette was feeling more calmer and she cuddles with her boyfriend who rubbed her back once more before he stopped. The sound of the rain continued as Chat pulled the blanket over himself and Marinette so that they wouldn't get cold.

"Thank you for comforting me Kitty. I feel so much better now that the thunder has finally stopped," Marinette told Chat as he gave her a kiss on the cheek and she gave him a quick kiss on the lips in return. She was extremely glad that the thunder had stopped because she absolutely hated it as it frightened her a lot but she was thankful that her boyfriend let her cuddle him and helped her to stay calm.

"It's no problem at all Mari. I know how much you hate thunder since you've told me about it before but I'm glad that it's over so you don't have to worry about it anymore," Chat replied as wraps his arms around her and they stayed in their position for a while until soft snoring could be heard. Marinette had fallen asleep as she was still holding onto Chat but she wasn't gripping him like she did before.

Chat quietly chuckled as he kissed his girlfriend's forehead and she continued to softly snore while Chat eventually fell asleep. They both continued to cuddle with each other in their sleep as Chat had his head rested on Marinette's pillow and she had her head resting on her boyfriend's chest. Cuddles helped them through the sounds of thunder as well as helping them to sleep and they both loved to cuddle each other.
