Marichat MAYhem 2022

~18: Pokemon AU~

"Go Pokéball!" Chat Noir excitedly stated as he threw the red and white ball at Litten as the pokéball swayed side to side until it stopped. Chat took out his Pokédex as he saw that Litten was now registered and he picked up the ball, placing it into his pocket after it shrunk down. Chat had now caught a new Pokémon with his partner, Umbreon's help and he pets his Pokémon with a smile as Umbreon nuzzled against its trainer's touch. Chat moved his hand away as he stood up and then he began to walk with his partner besides him but he stops when he hears someone call out his name.

"Hey Chat! Let's have a battle, me versus you," Marinette, Chat's friend, called out as he turned around to face her and he accepted her challenge. He saw that she had her partner, Gardevoir who was standing besides her and she had a determined look on her face because she wanted to win against her friend since he would beat her whenever they would battle but this time things were going to change for Marinette.

"Sure I accept your challenge Mari so bring everything you've got and don't hold back!" Chat told her as the first two Pokémon go battle were Gardevoir and Umbreon. The battle began as Chat made the first move while Marinette told Gardevoir to dodge the attack and commanded her partner to attack Umbreon. It used Energy Ball as the attack hit Umbreon but Chat was going to counterattack and told Umbreon to use Moonlight which hit Gardevoir, though the Pokémon was fine afterwards.

"Time to use the new move, Gardevoir! Use Moonblast!" Marinette commanded as the attack hit the opposing Pokémon and Umbreon was weakened even further while Chat was shocked by the new move that Marinette used since he never saw her use that move before. Marinette smiled as with one final attack she would win the battle but Chat wasn't going to give up yet. Chat told Umbreon to use Dark Pulse but Gardevoir moved swiftly out of the attack's way before it could get hit and was now behind Umbreon.

"Time to wrap this battle up! Gardevoir use Psyshock!" Marinette commanded once again as Gardevoir used the move which hit Umbreon and the Pokémon was too late to dodge as it got hit. Umbreon fell to the ground as it was knocked out while Chat was shocked at what had happened and he used the Pokéball to return his partner inside to rest.

"Wow Princess. That was an amazing battle but we're not done yet. I'm going to call upon my second Pokémon, Meowstic," Chat told Marinette as the Pokémon came out after he threw the Pokéball and Meowstic was ready to battle against Gardevoir. Chat told Meowstic to use Psybeam as the attack managed to hit the slightly weaken Gardevoir but it was still able to fight and it used Dazzling Gleam for its next move after Marinette told it to do so.

"Looks like your Gardevoir is weakened from the previous battle so looks like I'll wrap this up and end this. Meowstic use Psyshock!" Chat told his Pokémon as the attack managed to deal damage to Gardevoir who collapsed to the ground and it was knocked out, making Chat the winner of the second battle. Marinette used Gardevoir's Pokéball to return it back to rest as she called out her final Pokémon, Sylveon.

"This will be the final battle so let's give it our best until the very end! Sylveon use Quick Attack!" Marinette told her Pokémon as Sylveon charged at Mewostic and managed to land a hit at it, making it weaker than it was before. Chat told Mewostic to use Sucker Punch but Sylveon managed to dodge out of the way and Marinette told Sylveon to use Tail Whip which managed to hit Chat's Pokémon, weakening it further.

"Looks like this is the end of this battle. It was good while it lasted but it's time to wrap things up! Sylveon use Moonblast!" Marinette told her Pokémon as the attack hit Meowstic, knocking it out and Marinette won the battle. Chat used the Pokéball to return Meowstic inside to rest as Marinette did the same thing with Sylveon and Chat went up to fist bump Marinette.

"Awesome battle Princess. We'll battle against each other soon! See you around," Chat told Marinette as they both went their separate ways and both hoped that they would see each other soon.
