He didn't mean to accidentally destroy his girlfriend's fan but he was going to make it up to her and get her a new one with a similar design to the previous one. Chat went to a store where they sold various things as he made his way to the fan section and he looked at them until his eyes spotted one that resembled Marinette's old one so he picked it up to buy. He went to the front to get the item package as he gave the money and he took the bag, heading to Marinette's place.

"I really hope she likes this new fan," Chat thought as he had entered the bakery where he saw Marinette at the front taking out a batch of cookies out from the oven and setting them down on the counter. She then went over to Chat as she noticed the dark blue gift bag in his hand and she was wondering what was inside.

"Hey Chat. What's in the bag? Is it a gift for me?" Marinette asked as he nods and gave the bag to her. She opened it as she saw a box and takes it out of the bag, opening it. Marinette takes out the item in the box carefully as she recognised the design of the fan being similar to the one that Chat had destroyed and she was shocked.

"I brought you a new fan after accidentally destroying your old one and it was a present to say that I'm extremely sorry about what happened to your previous fan so I hope that you forgive me," Chat replied as Marinette set the fan down and hugged him while he wrapped his arms around her.

"Thank for the new fan Chat and of course I forgive you. I know that you didn't mean to accidentally Cataclysm my old one so don't think that I'm angry at you because I'm not. You don't have to apologise," Marinette told him as they both separated from the hug and she gave him a kiss on the cheek in return for him giving her a gift.

"I'm really glad that you're not angry at me Mari since I was really anxious because I didn't want you to be mad at me and possibly not talking to me for what I did," Chat told her as he felt like a heavy weight had been lifted off his shoulders and he was relived to know that his girlfriend wasn't angry at him.

Marinette picked up the fan as she opened it to see the design and she was really impressed at how well it was made since each little detail made the fan look really beautiful. Even though she was slightly angry at her boyfriend  for destroying her fan, Marinette instantly forgave him because what he did was an accident and his apology was genuine so why would she be mad at him?

She closed the fan as she set it back down again and she saw a envelope inside of the gift back. Opening it up, she took out the letter that Chat had written before he went to get her a new fan and she read it as she set it down afterwards. She wasn't expecting such a sweet letter from him as Marinette gave a warm smile to Chat and hugged him once again.

"You didn't have to write an apology letter for me Kitty because I've already forgiven you. I'm not going to stop talking to you over one little thing but I appreciate that you went out of your way to get me a new fan," Marinette told Chat as he smiled too and they both separated from the hug.

"I know but I felt like writing one anyways and I wanted to give you a new fan not only to make up for destroying your old one, I went out to get one because I know that you like to use fans especially when it's a summer day. It's really useful for those types of days and it can help you cool down so that's why I wanted to get you one. I knew you would like it since you liked the old one so I found one with a similar design," Chat explained as Marinette kissed him lightly on the lips and he kissed her hand.

"Thanks Chat for getting me a new fan even though you didn't have to and for being a wonderful boyfriend who I love so much," Marinette replied as the two shared a kiss and wrapped their arms around each other before separating from the kiss afterwards. She was truly thankful to have a caring boyfriend and she was glad to have a fan.
