Chapter 1

The fresh atmosphere of Salt Lake City on a Saturday greeted Minjeong for the
first time in a while. The last time she was there was six years ago, but nothing feels different. Minjeong felt happy and excited to finally stepped into the city, but at the same time anxious for her new school. She freaked
out if she won't have any friends, or become really awkward to the students there. If people who know her are reading this, they
obviously won't believe this. Back in her old school in LA, Minjeong is the
typical famous, pretty and handsome girl at school, who basically all girls and boys are
head over heels for, but she never pays attention because she knew their intentions in getting to know her, which is to take advantage of her to be popular. Most girls and boys in her old school have tried so hard to get to know her, but no one succeeded.

Her thoughts were interrupted with the sound of her mother telling him to help out unbox all of their stuffs.

"Honey, your things are still outside. Can you please get it by yourself? Your ma's cleaning up the living room." Taeyeon, her mom, requested.

"Okay mom. do you need anything else?" She asked.

"I guess that's it. Just unpack your belongings first and then help us out in the living room and kitchen." she answered, smiling. She nodded and followed her mom's instructions.

——————three hours later—————

She looked around and wandered on her new bedroom. She loved it. But she felt something was off and she realized she needed more decorations, a simple yet interesting decorations. She decided to go wander around
town and find a certain store that she's looking for. so, she walked downstairs and saw her parents were still cleaning up the new house.

"Mom, ma, sorry for not helping but can I have some time alone and wander around? I need to find some stuffs to fill in my room." She asked, hoping her parents allowed her.

"Sure, hon. Just make sure you don't get lost." Tiffany, Minjeong's ma joked.

"You know there's this thing called google maps" She said, laughing.

"It's okay honey, drive safe! The key's on the table." Taeyeon pointed out the key on the table near the front door.

"Thanks guys!" She shouted from the front door.

Minjeong walked over to the car and started the engine. Before she drove, she searched for the store she's looking for in google and found one which was like fifteen minutes away from her house, so she decided to go there. The ride was fine. She enjoyed the view of the streets and reminisced her old days in the city and a person suddenly pops off her head.

Shin Ryujin.

Her childhood best friend.

How is she? Is she still in SLC? Is she still the funny and awesome girl?

The last time she saw Ryujin was when she was in 4th grade and Ryujin was in 5th grade,
now she's a junior and Ryujin is a senior.

Fifteen minutes later she arrived at the store. She adored how vintaged and cool the place was from the outside. She wondered if the store inside is much more better. She couldn't hold her excitement and quickly walk
inside the shop.

The shop wasn't filled by many people so she took the opportunity to wander around the shop. The shop basically sells musical instruments and some decorations like posters and stickers. The shop turned out to
be like a music gallery, because there were few different rooms. The owner must've done that to differentiate the categories of the goods he sells. She saw a black and green-ish guitar and it definitely attracts her attention. She also saw band posters which also made her want to buy it.
