Jeremy's pov
"Alright guys that's it for today's class. Thank you Jerry Moore for coming out and speaking with us. We will have some prolonged exposure tomorrow Have a nice day everyone." I smile as I go to straighten up the room since we had group therapy. Hearing someone clearing their throat, I look at Jerry.
Jerry has been my long time friend since I came back from the air force. He was my first client that I had helped when I first opened up. Now he goes around guest speaking to veterans around the country.
"Hey man. How are you?" I asked him as I give him a brief hug. "I'm good. I'm good. I'm due in Arizona in a week. Man I haven't seen you in a year. Why don't we go get a drink and catch up?" Jerry chuckled. "I can do it tomorrow. I'm having dinner with my boyfriend tonight." I say to him.
"Oh who's the lucky fellow? Is he young? You were robbing the cradle the last few times." Jerry jokes. "Shut up. He's two years older than me. He's a lawyer and treats me very well." I say to him.
"That good. You know I worry about you since that bastard." Jerry growled. Cringing a little bit, I hum as we walk outside seeing Homer leaning against his car. "Hey Homer. This is my long time friend Jerry. Jerry this is my boyfriend Homer." I smile as they shake hands.
"Hello, it's nice to meet you Homer." Jerry hummed pulling back. "Likewise." Homer grunted as he grabbed my hand in his. "Take care of my friend Homer. See you tomorrow Jeremy." Jerry said as he walked to his car.
Turning to Homer I smile as he kisses my cheek. "How are you?" I ask as he opens the passenger door for me. "Better not that I'm with you." Homer said as he got in the car placing his hand on my thigh. "You seemed pretty grumpy on the phone earlier." I say to him.
"I know. I've had a stressful day Remy. I haven't eaten since I was busy with bullshit today." Homer grumbles as he clenched his hand around the steering wheel. "Well, how about instead of eating out? We go to your place and I'll cook you dinner. How does that sound?" I suggest. "Heavenly." Homer hummed as we arrived at his house. Getting out of the car we go in his house as I watch him disappear in his room. Making my way to the kitchen I look in the fridge pulling out some ingredients.
Start to cook one of my favorite meals from my childhood. Humming softly to myself I start the fufu with nkrakra soup. It always warmed my stomach whenever Mama cooked it when I was younger. Hopefully Homer will like it or at least try it.
Hearing light shuffle I turn seeing Homer in a random shirt and loose sweatpants. "Hmm what are you cooking baby?" Homer hummed as he looked at the stove. "Fufu and nkrakra." I say. "What? I know what fufu is but what's the second part." Homer grumbled. "It's light chicken soup. It's good, I promise." I smile as I turn to him kissing his temple.
Homer doesn't reply as he nuzzle his nose into my shoulder leaving lazy kisses on my neck. "Go set the table Homer. The food is almost done." I chuckle. "Okay Remy." Homer sighed lightly as he goes to set the table.
Humming as I add the finishing touches to the meal before I turn off the stove. Making two bowls of food I head to the table placing the food on the table. Sitting down I smirk at him as he looks at his bowl confused.
Shaking my head, I show him how to go about eating it. Watching as he dipped the fufu in his soup, I cross my fingers hoping he would like it. He nodded as he tucked into his meal practically shoveling it into his mouth.
I couldn't help the huge smile that graced my lips as I start eating. Dinner was quiet as we ate, soft touches shared between us. "How was your day Remy?" Homer asked as he ate the last of his soup. "It was good. I had Jerry to come and share his story with the class. You know he was my first client. We're going out for drinks tomorrow after I get off work." I hum and Homer nods.
"How long have you been friends?" Homer asks. "Jerry and I have been friends for at least twenty five years. He was actually my best friend in the air force." I hum to him. "What was it like in the air force?" He asked as he grabs our empty dishes going to the kitchen. "Hard physical labor. That's why I'm so toned." I joke as I flex my triceps.
"Do you want me to drive you home? Or are you going to stay over?" Homer yawned as he stretched. "If it's okay with you I'll stay. I don't want you driving since you seem exhausted." I hum as I watch him. "Here. It's not much." Homer said as we moved to his bedroom.n
"Thank you. I'll go shower now." I say as I go to the bathroom quickly showering. Dressing in the clothes Homer gave me, I leave the bathroom attempting to go to the couch.
"Where are you going?" Homer said. "Umm...I assumed I was sleeping on the couch." I say as Homer as he tugs me into the bed. "Nope." Homer mumbled. "Just a warning, you might find me naked in the morning." I said to him as I turn into his chest.
"If your uncomfortable in these clothes you can take them off. I'm to tired to have sex with you." He grumbled. Nodding I sit up as I strip the clothes folding them as I put them on the dresser.
Getting under the blanket, I snuggle into Homer's chest as I close my eyes. "Night Remy." He mumbled. "Night Homer." I say softly.
