Homer's pov
Waking up shutting my alarm off I smile over at Jeremy his body covered in hickeys and bite marks. It was finally Monday. Even though I had remained calm the last few days I was beyond happy. I finally found someone who doesn't try to change me or isolates me from Georgia and Maverick.
Getting out of bed, I hop in the shower soothingly aching muscles. Drying off I quickly do my hygiene routine before I put on some boxers and a undershirt. Laying out my beige suit on the bed I nudge Jeremy awake.
"Sweetheart. Sweetheart wake up. The ceremony starts in two hours." I sat softly. "Mhm. Morning Mr. Watson." Jeremy hummed as he moved to the bathroom.
Moving to the kitchen, I make a breakfast of French toast, fruit salad, and sausage. Hearing my phone go off, I pick it up.
"Watson." I said bluntly. "Hello this is the hostess at Yendidi Norfolk. I was just confirming you reservation at 1 this afternoon for seven." She said. "Yes. We will be there. Thank you." I say before hanging up. "Who was that?" Jeremy questioned as he sat at the counter.
"Just confirming our reservation." I sat as I place a plate in front of him. "So are you excited?" Jeremy asked. "What kind of question is that? Of course I'm excited." I say kissing his temple. "Good. I want this to be a good memory for you." Jeremy said eating his fruit. "It's already a good memory for me. Now eat up, we have to pick up ma from the hotel room." I say. "Remind me why did she decide to stay at a hotel."Jeremy questioned. "She said achọghị m ịnụ ka nwa m nwoke na-eme ihe na-adịghị mma." I said trying to get my pronunciation right. (I don't want to hear my son doing the humpty dumpty)
Jeremy burst out laughing. Finishing our breakfast we got dressed. Me in my beige suit. Jeremy in his burgundy suit. Getting in the car we drive to the hotel, quickly going inside. We hug ma as she smiles at me. "Let me see the ring." Ma gushed as she held Jeremy's hands. "This is beautiful just like you." Ma said pinching his cheek.
"Ma stop I'm 49." He grumbled embarrassed. "You'll always be my baby." Ma said as we walked outside to the car. "Hey mama." I said as I openwd the door. "Hey. Excited?" Ma asked. "Not excited just extremely happy and content." I said glancing over at my soon to be husband.
"Well no time to waste. Let's get to the court." Ma said as we started driving. Driving to the courthouse, I park before we all get our seeing Georgia, Maverick, Jerry and Max standing outside of the court.
"You look phenomenal." Georgia said as she greeted Jeremy. Pulling away from him, her eyes instantly went to his hand. "Oh my God! Your getting married! We're going to be family!" Georgia squealed humping up and down.
"You!" She said yelling at me. "Why didn't you tell me on the phone?" She screeched hitting me in the chest. "I didn't want you to have a stroke." I say snarkily."I don't care if it wasn't you wedding day I'd kick you." Georgia glared. "Don't. I'll spray you water." I said smirking. "So what?" Georgia challenged. "You really want to look like a clown. Mascara running. You would like like a racoon." I chuckled as she flipped me off looking at ma.
"Imani! I didn't even recognize you." Georgia said practically bouncing over to her. "Georgia it's nice to see you. How have you been?" Ma asked holding her hands. "Good. Good. I made some peach cobbler for the reception." She said making Jeremy and ma turn to each other squealing.
"Okay okay. Let's go get hitched." I said holding Jeremy's hand.

"I now pronounce Mr. And Mr. Watson - Gorman." The judge said smiling.
"Husband." Jeremy murmured as he kissed me solidifying our marriage. Hearing the clapping of our friends and family, I pull away from Jeremy wiping the few tears."Husband." I say to him smiling wide. Leaving out the courthouse, greeted with congratulations I hold Jeremy's hand in mine. "Let's get to our reservation sweetheart. I'm starving." I mumble as we get in the car going to the restaraunt.
"Homer where are we going for our honeymoon?" Jeremy asked. "Anywhere you want. As long as I'm with you." I say as I pull up to the restaraunt. Waiting for everyone to arrive I hum softly as I look at Jeremy. "I want to say this before everyone comes. I love you. Watching you grow and heal this past months have been nothing short of amazing. I knew you were a troubled man plagued by self doubt, uncertainty and paranoia. But I will be with you every step of the way. Fulfilling your needs, your wants, making your dreams come true. When you feel depressed I will be there to uplift you. Because this, us. You deserve it. You deserve happiness, love, and to feel safe." I said as Jeremy sniffled.
"Homer. You are a asshole. You are blunt and to direct. But I love that about you. I love that no matter the situation you tell it how it is. I love everything about you. From your smart remarks to the way your ear grow red when your embarrassed. At first I thought we wouldn't last. But you showed me time and time again how much I meant to you. How much you were committed to me. I know I'm not the easiest to deal with but you are so patient and compassionate with me. You make me happy beyond comparison. Everyday you make me believe that I deserve this. But it's not just me, we deserve this." Jeremy sniffled as I wiped his tears.
Pressing a few kisses to his temple and cheeks, I smile at him. "Couldn't of said it better myself."
