Yami slowly gets up
"Sir, are you ready to send out the video?" A scientist approaches Hoody
"I'll be back" Hoody walks off with the scientist
"Video?" Yami looks at Lane
"I believe that is the announcement video, claiming that they're part of the rebellion" Lane answers
"So, who're you?" Carry asks
"Oh, sorry, I haven't introduced myself to everyone, have I?" Lane asks
"A brother of steel, nice" Metal laughs
"I'm Lieutenant Lane, an experiment created by Bioware in order to help the rebellion, I owe these people my life, but to the rebellion, I was a failed experiment, to keep everyone on their toes" Lane's eye turns into a smiley face
"I have never seen anything like this" Lexia examines Lane
"You're really cool" Putty stares
"'Preciate it" Lane laughs
"How did you guys find me?" Yami asks
"That was all Lexi" Alex smiles
"Yeah, if it weren't for her and...whatever she did, we wouldn't have found you" Clara explains
"I just tracked her arm-guards, that's all" Lexia shakes her head
"Impressive" Lane nods
"So, where's the main group?" Yami asks
"I think it'll be okay if I left for an hour or so, c'mon, I'll show you" Lane starts to the exit
The group follows him back to the run-down village
They enter a church
"Alright, Infinite's team will lead the assault, Kola, your team will lead infiltration, starting from the roof, but Lane will go solo, searching for Aphrodite and Demeter, Hermes, you'll also be with Kola's team" Carmel explains, breaking down the plan drawn on a whiteboard
"Alroight, gans blazin' o awe we doin' stealfy?" A burly man asks, standing up
A woman looks over at Yami's group, not saying a word
"I feel like it'd be smarter to go in GUNS BLAZING, that way we'd get everyone's morale up, I have to buy some dynamite, and get my dry-cleaning soon enough, ooh, maybe I could buy one of those new scythes, or I could just steal one, alright, I got a plan, I'll buy a bag of cheese, THEN we blow sh!t up to kingdom come" A short woman goes off on her own ideas
"I oughta get some more grenades, kinda startin' to run low...aw, I'm sure it'll be fine" A familiar robot shrugs
"I mean, I've got some empty bottles, maybe you can make some explosives out of those?" Another familiar voice suggests
"Hm...Maybe you should try expanding your arsenal, you'd enjoy a rocket launcher, or something of the sort" Another woman smiles
"YES, A ROCKET LAUNCHER, GET THAT, THAT'S IMPORTANT FOR INFILLING" The short woman shouts
"I could lead the charge with someone, have a quiet infiltration team, then a loud one, they'd never expect us" Hermes suggests
"That's...a great idea, you guys can do it however you want, just get it done, alright? We've wanted to do this for a while now, let's kick some a$$, then get some beers later...oh hey, I didn't notice any of you until now" Carmel looks at Yami's gang
"What about them? They're very capable from what I've seen" Lane mentions
"Lane, noice to see ya" The burly man smiles
"Oooh, new people, ANOTHER ROBOT? I thought you were the only special one, or is she a robot too? That's a pretty helmet on your belt, can I touch it? Please, pretty pleaaaaaaaaaaassseee?" The short woman begs, looking up to Lexia
"It is very delicate, and special, so no" Lexia explains
The quiet woman walks away
"Awwwwwwwwwwwww, pleaaaasee? You'll be my bestest frieeennd" The short one pleads
"Who even are you?" Lexia asks
"I AM THE GOD OF EXPLOSIONS...but these heathens call me Bomb-" She starts to explain
"That's Tali" Carmel interrupts
"Bomber" Shorty corrects
"Okay, Bomber" Carmel sighs
"Now, mortaleth, what be thoueth's name?" Tali asks
"Lexia" She answers
"Well, lil' Lexi" Tali giggles
"I ain't in no position ta give ordas now...but I was tinkin' that maybe you goiys coud take out Gea's biggest project, they call 'im Taminus, o somenin loike that" The burly man states
"Look, I know it's a lot to ask of you guys, but could you help us with something else too?" Carmel asks
"Depends" Kyron crosses his arms
"Well, Lane, Kola, and Tali are on board with this, but I'm not sure everyone else is, that one woman, Violet, the quiet one, her brother runs the place, then Infinite's team over here doesn't really wanna do it either, because they don't know which one Hoody works for, and Infinite may be their leader, but they can't really...I can't explain it, they're just having problems, lastly, they're gonna bring everything they got at us, being, hopefully, the final battle in a war, we'll definitely need help for that" Carmel shakes her head
"D*mn, I miss the old days, bar-hopping, merc work for the fun of it, glory...heh, now look at us" A woman sitting across Infinite laughs
"Holy sh!t" Yami stares
"I know what you mean, after we beat Gear's a$$es into the ground, that'll be it" Infinite hopes
"Cherry? Glazz?" Yami walks over to her group
"YAMI?" The robot shouts
"YOU AREN'T DEAD?" The other woman shouts
"I COULD ASK YOU GUYS THAT TOO" Yami grins
"Troy's old friends" Alayna laughs
"Yami, who're they?" Flake asks
"New fishes, eh? Well, I'm Glazz, how ya doin'?" The robot asks
"I'm Cherry" The red-headed woman smiles
"I love your helmet, did you make it?" Lexia approaches Glazz
"...And I'm Ally" The second woman waves
"Oh, yeah, pretty nice, ain't it?" Glazz rubs his head
"Hey, Yami" Infinite doesn't look at her
"Nice to see you again" Yami nods
"Thought you was dead, we showed up to da funeral an' all" Glazz laughs
"I had a...anyway, so there's some problems over here?" Yami asks
"Hey...Bioware posted a video" Infinite looks at her phone
"Bout d*mn time" Glazz gets up
They start crowding around Infinite
"To the people of the rebellion, to the people of Gears, we wanted to provide closure, closure as to what we are, closure as to who we are, BioWare is united, we are united towards one goal..." A man covered by a shadow starts
"Just make your point" Glazz groans
"We are one with the rebels" The shadow disappears, revealing Hoody
"Holy sh!t" Cherry murmurs
"Yeah, I could've told you this" Yami shrugs
"Had to keep it a secret...sorry, guys" Infinite sighs
"Now, to the rebellion, I know this is a lot to ask, but join us, we will destroy Gears and make this world one that nobody will have the fear of dying by breathing wrong, united we will stand, divided we will fall...meet us at the gates of BioWare, just be cautious, we know who works for Gears, so don't try anything funny, see you soon" Hoody signs off
The video ends
"...So, you guys still having problems?" Yami asks
"Just...before we decide, I wanna know somethin'" Glazz steps forward
"We already discussed this" Ally shakes her head
"Well d*mmit, she's alive, so who's ta say he ain't?" Glazz asks
"Troy's alive, that's why I came here in the first place, trying to get as much help as possible" Yami forces a laugh
"HE IS?" Glazz and Cherry shout
"I-I'm sorry for nearly stopping you" Ally stares, wide-eyed
"First, target practice wit the boys of Gears, afta that, we're goin' ta help him" Glazz states
"We still need more help, we've got 3 more planets after this" Kyron adds
"Oh, yeah, I...guess I get it" Cherry sighs
"Just be patient, hell, I'm trying to, but I'm just getting one helluvan urge to go see him" Yami shakes her head
"Alright, got it, we'll prep for both battles then, you should go see Violet" Cherry helps
"Exactly where I was headed next, see you guys soon" Yami walks away from everyone, after the quiet woman
"Just left us without another word, huh?" Metal laughs
"A BROTHA OF STEEL" Glazz puts his arms up
"YOU'RE A ROBOT?" Metal asks
"ROBO B!TCHEEEEEESS" Lane shoves his arms up
"Oh, WE GOTTA have a drink afta this" Glazz laughs
