42. Food chain

"When's the food getting heeeere? My stomach's angry" Flake groans

"Probably like 5 minutes" Cipher smiles that same smile

"I need my f*cking Manhattan" Kyron rubs his eyes

"That's it, right?" Metal points at a bunch of waiters with their hands filled with plates

"I don't see any other large amount of people, and that's a crapton of food" Mar raises his eyebrows

"Hey, who's paying for this stuff?" Cipher asks

They all stare at him

".....Ooohh...sh!!!!!!t" Cipher slowly nods

"You forgot to bring your WALLET?" Clara asks

"Is there a problem over here?" The waiters ask, laying down trays on empty tables

"No, no problem at all, just they're all just hangry, you ever get the feeling?" Jason asks

"We apologize for the wait...one of our cooks...nevermind" A waiter shakes his head

"What's up with him?" Carry asks

"It's private, but thank you for your concern, just focus on your food, yes?" He asks

Flake eyes her plate

"Thank you, I haven't eaten ALL DAY" Putty starts gobbling down his bacon burger, the next victim will be his ribs and after that, his almond cookie

"Oh, forgot to mention, she's expecting" Cipher points at Flake

Flake stares at Cipher, I guess not just Flake, everybody else does

"Oh, congratulations, enjoy your meal then" Another waiter smiles

"I don't know wha-" Flake starts

The waiters hurriedly walk off to the kitchen

"You're pregnant? Don't tell me-" Clara starts

Fifteen happily eats beside Flake

"I'm f#cking not, why'd you say that?" Flake stares holes through Cipher

"Now we get a free meal, that's a little secret at this place" Cipher explains

"Why'd you pick Flake? She looks skinnier than...other people" Metal eyes Lexia

"Would you like me to take off my shirt and show you my abs?" Lexia asks

"Yes" Putty's eyes widen

Alex drops his spoon, staring at Putty

"Those are abs? D*mn you're toned then" Metal sounds surprised

"I thought you were talking about me" Carry laughs a bit

"You're fine being called that?" Metal asks

"Yeah, of course, I'm just not insecure about that, I sit around playing games and getting drunk, making money" Carry explains

"...True" Cipher nods

"Well at least we don't have to pay" Jason shrugs

"I think something bad might've happened to the chef" Kyron looks through his Turkey sandwich

"Salad's not supposed to have ketchup in it, right?" Carry asks, staring at a red liquid on her lettuce

Fifteen barks, distressed

"He probably got his eye taken out" Cipher leans back, drinking a milkshake

"Yeah, and he killed himself" Hyper eats cheetos

"How do you-" Flake starts

"I checked" Hyper nods

"When the f#ck did you get here?" Kyron stares

"I wanted to see what you guys were up to" Hyper answers

"...Should we do something?" Mar asks

"What could we do? Bury the body?" Jason asks

"Yeah...fair point" Mar sighs

"Why did he kill himself?" Leixa asks

"Stress, they come here to challenge their mental abilities, trying to make a name for themselves, if they can last a week, they try to push for a year" Hyper explains

"But why?" Alex asks

"The money, they get 1 million dollars a day, that'll accumulate pretty quick" Hyper explains

"Wow...so they just do it to themselves, wow, but where does the restaurant get all the money?" Carry asks

"Their customers, where else?" Hyper laughs a bit

"How much was this meal?" Flake asks

"Well, we've got about 10 people here, so I'd say about....20 mil" Hyper nods

Kyron spits out his drink

"Yeah, nice job carrying a crotch goblin" Hyper puts her thumb up

"You don't like kids, got it" Mar laughs

"They take your milk, they cry, they poop, I hate them, they just take up valuable places for computers and arcade machines" Hyper rolls her eyes

Metal stares at her

"Anyway, see ya" Hyper basically disappears

"...I'm done, that was great" Putty stretches

"You swallowed that sh!t whole" Jason stares

"That's Putty" Mar shakes his head
