Ludo stood in shock, not knowing what to do. The lich's eyes were bright green, green-like smoke poured out of his eyes as if liquid nitrogen was poured into his skull.

"It has been a while since we last met." The lich's voice was calm and smooth, Sully's heart raced across his chest. We can't know how powerful he is right now. Ludo thought. Hopefully he didn't get too strong since our last fight.

"I realized that I was a fool to fight you all by myself." The lich king admitted.

"My powers dwindle every passing year, after multiple millennia of existence... I realize that I cannot fight as I used to."

What is he trying to say here? Ludo thought in his mind. Why would he make a speech right before? This didn't make any sense at all.

Sully cleared his throat and started to speak."Shut up and get to the point alrea-"

Megaera stepped into the room, the stone walls creaked from the wind. Along her back was a mysterious blade, Ludo and Sully couldn't tell what it was exactly, but it was a saber of some sort.

Sully rushed forward and casted a spell onto the two in the room, white and blue lights shot out of his palms onto the two.

"Sully! What are you doing?!" Ludo exclaimed.

The Lich cast another spell, using his fingers to summon a wheel of light to block the magic attack that Sully had casted. Megaera dodged the light beam to the side, the beam hit the stone on the floor beneath them, and the remainder of what was left was a two foot dust hole surrounded by the perfect stone design.

Its now to attack or never Ludo thought as he rushed forward lighting up his pyromantic blade and slashed upwards to the sky created a trail of fire in the air, the trail threw itself at the lich at blinding speeds, but the Lich pulled out his bone hands and summoned two snakes, the fire hit both of the snakes, and instead of dying, the snakes heads regenerated and then grew back two more heads.

What the heck is this? Ludo thought in confusion. Sully took the time to conjure arrows of light that were summoned to strike the snakes in the vital spot. The light arrows punctured the snakes at blinding speed, and all of them regenerated heads and doubled in number, and hissed violently.

Sully stood in shock, and in the corner of his peripheral vision, he saw Maegara leak a smile of mischief.

Ludo stood up straight and chuckled.

"Do you realize that quality is above quantity?" he exclaimed.

"Ah you will regret saying that" The lich laughed and merged the snakes together into two gigantic cobras with green skin and hoods that extended down the cobras body. They both hissed simultaneously and Ludo saw dark green poison leak from the snake's teeth, the poison dripped onto the stone floor and melted through it as if it was ice.

Maegara finally took action and rushed aat Ludo while unsheathing her sword. Ludo saw that her blade was small, larger than a dagger but smaller than a normal sword , and it had a purplish color with a peculiar design on it, but there was no time to examine closely.

Megaera attacked Ludo with an upwards slash, Ludo used his blade to block the attack, but soon he realized that her blade was special. It absorbed the fire that Ludos pyromantic blade spew and used it to its advantage. All of a sudden, Maegara's edge started to spew out purple sparks of what seemed to be fire, Ludo, realizing this quickly pulled away from her blade. He looked at his own blade, and realized that one edge was completely burnt out black.

Maegara chuckled, "My edge has a unique ability. It takes an ability from the opponent's weapon with one touch."

Ludo snarled at her. What kind of magical blade is this? I never heard of a dragon or tarragon whose headpiece gem had this ability!

Ludo shook his blade and the fire shined brighter than ever. He leaned back and lunged forward propelling a slice of fire hot enough to melt someone as if they were a candle, but Maegara was able to simply quench it by slashing the fire with her edge.

"Oh... I forgot to mention... This blade also has another unique ability. It takes the opponent's weapon power, and also does it better than the original."

Ludo was dumbfounded. What kind of sorcery is this? I never ever heard of something like this

Sully and the Lich fought each other with spells and magic, Ludo wanted to help Sully, but he was distracted by fighting Megaera. Hopefully he can hold out for some time until I can help him.

Suddenly, the lich grabbed Sully and broke down the stone walls of the cave. He flew out of the cave, and Ludo had to make a run for it.

"Sorry but you deserve this." Ludo sighed.

Maegara had a look of confusion on her face, and that was the perfect time to strike. He used his blade to rush around and circle the area with flames, then he rolled out of the flames with his blade in his sheath. Maegara tried but couldn't get out of this one.

Ludo rushed out of the cave and saw the Lich flying over the dark skies, lightning struck the area and rain pelted Ludo's armor.

"Attack me and the boy will die." The Lich exclaimed. "Surrender now."

Ludo shook his head in disappointment.

"Using him as a way to get me to forfeit? That is simply dishonorable." Ludo responded.

Sully's eyes turned yellow with light and lightning struck the Lich from above, knocking them both to the floor.

Ludo ran and caught Sully in his arms, and the lich landed on the hard earth, with cracks in his skeletal frame and his skull.

"Aeugh... Yadaran! I call out for you to assist me!" The Lich screamed out in pain.

Suddenly an 8 foot tall skeleton with a green cloak and armor made of valerian steel stepped out from the shadows. He had a red blood crimson sword spear that was the same size as Ludo.

"Don't worry father... I will take care of them myself."
