Chapter 5 - New Start

SKYLARS P.O.V.

I continued getting a tour of the school by Louis and by the end I think we became good friends. I met up with Cole after school and he drove us back home where it was just the two of us since Mum wasn't home until 5pm. I haven't forgotten about Nathan and I's little deal about him coming over to help me unpack so I was aware of that. I got out of the car and ran straight up to my room were I sat playing on my phone on the cushioned bench by my open window for awhile.

"Boo!" Someone shouted which made me fall off the cushioned bench and onto the floor with a thud.

"Dammit!" I cursed as I got up to see Nathan leaning over his window laughing.

"Well hello to you too then," I mumbled as I sat back down on the bench.

"So where were you all day today?" He asked.

"I was getting the grand tour," I told him sarcastically like it was an honor.

"With who?" He questioned.

"Louis Tomlinson," I stated his name in which Nathan laughed again.

"Isn't he gay?" He managed to get out from his laugh.

"I don't think so, when I came back from lunch I had to wait for him to stop snogging a girl's face off," I told him, trying to hold on my own laugh.

"Speaking of lunch, where were you and your brother? Jess was worried," he smirked.

"We had to eat lunch with the principle and ask questions," I replied.

"Sounds like it was awkward," he laughed.

"It was also stupid," I pointed out, making Nathan laugh again.

"Skylar! Dinner's ready!" Mum called from downstairs.

"I have to go, are you still coming over tonight?" I asked and he nodded as I got up and left my room.

Once I was done with dinner I assumed Nathan was too since there was a knock at the door.

"I'll get it!" I shouted eagerly as I ran over and answered the door to find both Jess and Nathan standing there with smiles on their faces.

"Come in," I offered with a smile and of course Jess and Cole ran off to be together as Nathan and I went upstairs.

"So how much is there to unpack?" He asked. I opened the door to my bedroom which revealed six large cardboard boxes. I watched as his eyes almost popped out of my head and I laughed.

"There's really not that much," I assured him. I opened the first box which was mainly picture frames, a rug, and other small things like my lamp. I started putting my clothes on hangers and putting them in the closet along with putting my shoes on the shoe rack when Nathan was ready for another box.

"Could you put these sheets on the bed?" I asked as I handed him the neatly folded stack on sheets.

"Sure!" He replied as he did so and I finished with my clothes and then tried hooking up my TV in my room along with sitting my laptop on the desk and plugging it in.

"Need help with that?" Nathan asked as I was getting confused by the colored cords trying to hook up the TV and the DVD player. I nodded and let him take over in which he was able to do it with no problem.

"You make me look bad," I laughed.

They're might be another chapter posted with the rest of the story or maybe tomorrow, not sure...
