Chapter 8 - I Will Wait

SKYLAR'S P.O.V.

"I will wait, I will wait for you..." I pressed the snooze button on my alarm and groaned before getting up and getting dressed into skinny jeans and a v-neck before cleaning myself up and going downstairs and sitting down at the bar in the kitchen where mum plopped a plate of chocolate chip pancakes in front of me.

"Thank you," I replied politely and she nodded.

"Come on Cole! You've got ten minutes before you've got to be out the door!" Mum screamed up the steps before coming back ingot he kitchen to tend to the pancakes. I heard Cole come running down before walking into the kitchen fast and sitting down next to me. I started coughing by the sudden scent I accidentally inhaled.

"What are you wearing?!" I asked.

"Cologne?" He replied as if I was stupid.

"And a lot of it," I told him as I finished my pancakes as he did too. I grabbed my bag when I noticed Cole was ready before me.

"Lets go," he encouraged as we got in his car and quickly got to school.

I got to my locker today and hung up my bag on the hook and got my materials for Maths and closing my locker. As I got into Maths I sat my stuff down on my desk before coming back to see it sitting on the floor. That's odd. I picked up my stuff and sat it on my desk and there was a girl standing in front of my desk that had bleach blonde hair and thick layers of makeup with skin tight clothes on.

"Can I help you?" I asked as awkward as the situation looked.

"Listen up biatch, you're the newbie in this school. Louis is just feeling sorry for your pathetic ass," she told me.

"I don't believe that," I replied simply. Before I knew it I was on the ground with minor pain as she was smirking up at me. I immediately stood up and our faces were legit so far apart when I saw a fist out of the corner of my eye. I stepped back as she swung and hit air, and I also noticed Louis standing against the wall in shock and he immediately ran out of the room.

"You scared bitch?!" She screamed before the principles came in and split us up.

"To my office!" One growled and I was a left shocked. I sighed and started making the walk of shame to the office, giving Louis a sympathetic look on the way out. We walked down to his office silently and were only in there for a minute as he called my mum. After them talking for awhile, the result was me being suspended. I was hoping my mother wouldn't be too mad about it since it was the first time but I was wrong. my phone buzzed in my pocket before I could leave and it was a text from Louis.

"What's the verdict? Loux"

- "I'm suspended for three days and she's suspended for six. :P"

"So are you leaving now? Loux"

- "Yeah,why?"

"Your stuffs still sitting on your desk. ;) Do you want me to bring it to you? Loux"

- "Please? :)"

I waited minutes after that and of course mum who was standing and waiting also was getting antsy.

"Where is this person?!" My mother asked getting mad.

"You can go wait in the car," I told her, getting annoyed. She then walked out the front doors leaving me standing in the lobby of the school waiting for Louis. Just then there was a figure jogging down the hallway and as it got closer I realized it was Louis. He stopped right in front of me and smiled while I still had tear-stained eyes from crying and I couldn't even smile.

"Don't worry Sky, it'll be alright," he assured me and gave me a hug, making me smile a little.

"I wish it was," I sighed.

"Hey, at least you were a badass and didn't sit in a corner," he jokes which made me smile more.

"I better go, my mums in the car and she'll go ape if I'm not out there soon," I told him in which he understood.

"I'll text you?" he asked and I nodded before we went our separate ways.
