It's the hottest and most humid race of the season, Singapore. My teammate Esteban announces that he's leaving Nissan for Renault next year. Which means I'll be getting a new teammate! I hope we get along.

After the practice and qualifying sessions I have to cool down as quickly as possible, so I immerse myself up to my neck in a tub of ice water in my sports bra and undies. Since qualifying takes place in the evening (it's a night race) Sangil gets to enjoy this view on Saturday.

"Are you okay?" he asks. "It looks freezing."

"It is," I reply. "After I get out you can try it."

He laughs. "No, thanks. I wasn't in a car that was roasting me alive."

When we get weighed after the race, I lost two and a half kilograms in the space of a couple hours.

On Monday we visit the aquarium and a butterfly garden, play mini golf, and go rock climbing.
