Part 70

The Mexican Grand Prix is a tough one, because of the altitude. It's the highest out of all the cities on the schedule. I'm glad I arrived early, because I spend all my extra time getting used to breathing the thinner air. I go jogging with my trainer, and we both get winded.

Sangil has a busy schedule for the next two months, and since these next three races all take place in the Western Hemisphere, he can't make it to this one. He's not upset, since he has been to Mexico earlier this year. I have the Mexican race this weekend, the F1 Hollywood Festival next weekend, then the American Grand Prix, another F1 festival in Brazil, followed up by the Brazilian Grand Prix. I won't be home for almost a whole month. Then a short rest at home, before the final race of the season on December first in Abu Dhabi.

I send Sangil many pictures and videos of myself while I'm away. He doesn't send nearly as many back, but I don't mind. I've also been thinking that I haven't been showing him love the way he needs lately. I get physical touch from him all the time, but I need to make a concentrated effort to shower him with words of affirmation. Not to say that he doesn't enjoy the physical attention!

I know Snuper are working on a best of album for their Japanese fans, so I send him daily encouragement and a "ganbatte" or "fighting!"

I get voted driver of the day for the Mexican GP. There's nothing official about it because it's just a fan vote, but it does make me smile. It was probably because after a slight collision with another driver in the beginning of the race, I was dead last and fought my way up the pack to finish in the points. Which is fantastic for a midfield car.

F1 is full of drama at the moment (it feels like to me).

Time for laughs. And Bullet Train delivers.
