Mini Skip ~ a Luke Brooks Love Story

Chapter 5

We all piled into the car with me shotgun with Skip driving and the rest of the boys in the back. "Hey why don't you guys stay the night?" Says Daniel. "Ye sure just drop us off at the house and we'll get our stuff" says Beau. Daniel nods in agreement and starts driving towards the brooks brothers house. "I'll text James and see if he can come too" I say. I take out my phone and text James saying "heya everyone's sleeping over in me a Daniels, you wanna come?" He soon replied "ye sure but I won't be there until ten" I read the text and put away my phone. "Is he coming?" Asked Jai. "Ye he'll be there at ten" I replied.

After we dropped off the boys the car got kind of awkward. This never happened between me and Daniel. He would always say something to break silence but instead he kept glancing at me. "Okay what's up?" I ask. "Oh eh nothing it doesn't matter" Daniel says nervously. "Yes it does skip will you please ju-" "do you like Luke?" Daniel interrupted me. "No" I said and blushed. "Yes you do you so do you're blushing" he teases. "What's it to you anyway?" I ask still blushing. "Well I'm your big brother and I don't want you going for the wrong guys" he says seriously. "Thanks Skip but its not that big a deal its just a crush it'll blow over" I say "and besides he doesn't even like me" I say frowning. I look over at Daniel and he just has a smirk on his face "weird boy" I think to myself. I lay my head on the door "i am really tired today" I think to myself as I drift asleep.

*Luke's P.O.V*

We walked into the house after Daniel dropped us off. Jai asked our mum could we stay over and she said yes of course. I ran up to me an Jai's shared room and grabbed a bag and put the necessary sleep over stuff in there. I was walking out the door when Jai stopped me. "Hey man what's up?" He asked. "Nothing why?" I replied. "I dunno you just seem strange lately" he states. "No I'm good" I say. "Okay look I'm just gonna come out with it" Jai says "do you like Hannah?". I look at him and say nothing. His blank expression soon turns into a smirk "I knew it" he says. "Shh don't tell anyone please Jai" I begged. "Don't worry bro, my lips are sealed" says Jai sincerely. "Thanks man" I say doing our handshake with him. He nods and grabs his bag. "You ready?" I ask. He nods and walks out the door. I follow him downstairs and say goodbye to our mum. "See you boys tomorrow" she said with a wave. "Bye" we all said as we got into Beau's car. I grabbed my beats out of my bag and put them on my head. I plugged the wire into my phone and blared the music. "This should be fun" I thought to myself as the car pulled out of the driveway.

*Hannah's P.O.V*

I woke up as Daniel pulled into our driveway. I unbuckled my seatbelt and opened the door with my left hand. Man this is going to be hard I thought to myself as I picked up my purse. I walked into the house and went straight up to my room. I plugged my phone into the charger and turned on my radio. "DANIEL" I shouted down the stairs. "Ye?" He replied. "Can you help me bring down the pillows for the fort?" I ask. "Ye sure" he says as he runs up the stairs. We both take as many pillows we can find from me and Daniels rooms and bring them Into the living room. "Hey Hannah I'm just going to the shop to pick up some food for us, are you okay here by yourself?" Daniel asks. "Ye ill be grand" I reply. I set up the fort and lye on the couch. "This should be fun" I thought to myself as a car pulled into the drive way.
