Mini Skip ~ a Luke Brooks Love Story

Chapter 13

*Luke's P.O.V*

The Valentine's Dance is tonight. Normally I wouldn't care but since I'm going with Hannah I just can't wait. Me and Jai went shopping yesterday and got matching outfits. What? We're twins what do you expect? We got black trousers, white shirts and purple waistcoats. We are gonna look slick tonight. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and I took it out. I checked the caller ID. It was Daniel. "hello?" I said answering the phone. "hey man what's up?" said Daniel. "Nothing really the Valentine's dance is on tonight" I said casually. "Oh cool, who you going with?" he says. Oh shit. "uh, emm, well, you see, eh" I stuttered. "spit it out man" Daniel laughed. "Imgoingwithhannah" I said really quickly. "What was that?" Daniel asked. I took a deep breath. "I'm going with Hannah" I said worried of what will happen next. "Thank god" said Daniel. "what?" I asked confused. "Well its better than her going with some asshole, at least I know you won't try something with her" said Daniel. "Thanks man" I said "So why did you call? Do you need something?". "Well before i left I put Hannah's birthday present in our house. Can you pick it up and give it to her?" he asked. "Ye sure when's her birthday?" I asked. "Dude. Its today" he said in an obvious tone. "Shit I'll talk to you later" I said as I quickly hung up the phone. How could I forget Hannah's birthday? I have to get her a great present in less than two hours. What do I do?!

*Hannah's P.O.V*

Todays the day!! I'm so excited. I'm going to be wearing a light purple dress that ends about mid-thigh and a pair of silver high heels. Now I'll be the same size as Luke! Me and Katie went over to Tara's to get ready. Tara was currently curling my hair with a curling iron. My hair is quite long so it took a while to do. When she finished Katie started doing my make-up. I swear these two are going to be beautisions (spl?) when they are older. When she was finished I stood up and looked in the mirror. I looked amazing. I can't wait to show off to Luke. Katie was wearing a light pink dress with black heels and Tara was wearing a black dress with purple heels. Oh by the way Katie is going with Tara's brother Donal and Tara is going with Jai. I looked at the time. It was 9:30. The boys should be here any second. Next thing I know I hear the doorbell ring. Donal answers it while me, Katie and Tara stand at the top of the stairs. I've never been so nervous in my life!

*Luke's P.O.V*

We pulled up in the limo outside Tara's house. I was so nervous. Jai rang the doorbell and Donal answered it. We said our hellos then all turned around to see Katie walking down the stairs. She looked really pretty. She walked over to Donal and he gave her a kiss. Next down the stairs was Tara. She also looked stunning. She went and stood beside Jai. Then I see Hannah walking down the stairs. She looked like an angel. I was literally just standing there with my mouth open staring at her. But I couldn't help myself. She looked amazing!

she walked over and stood beside me. "You look absolutely breathtaking" I said with a smile. "You clean up pretty good too" she replied with a wink. I laughed and grabbed her hand. We walked out the door and over to the limo. "Ladies first" I said to Hannah while holding the car door open. "Thank you kind sir" she said mocking me. I stuck my tongue out at her and she laughed.

~~At the Dance~~

*Hannah's P.O.V*

We had just pulled up to the school. I got out of the car and Luke took my hand. We walked to the door and entered the hall. It looked great. There were lights and balloons everywhere! "Would you like a drink?" Luke asked me. "Yes please" I said and he goes to get drinks. I talked to Katie until he got back. "Here ya go" said Luke handing me the drink. "Thanks" I say. Whatever song was playing ended and Thrift Shop by Macklemore started. "I LOVE THIS SONG!!" I shouted and started to dance with Luke. When the song ended Be Alright by Justin Bieber started playing. "May I have this dance?" Luke asked me. I smiled and nodded and wrapped my arms around his neck and his wrapped themselves around my waist and we swayed to the music. "Hannah?" says Luke. "ye?" I reply looking into his eyes. "Well I haven't officially asked you so will you be my girlfriend?" He asked hopefully. "of course" I said as I crashed my lips onto his.

*Luke's P.O.V*

The Dance was just over and me and Hannah were walking home. We got changed into comfortable pajamas and lay down in Hannah's (my) bed. We turned on The Vow and got snuggled up. "Oh I almost forgot" I said as I pulled a box out of my pocket. "Happy Birthday Hannah" I said and gave her a kiss. I had gotten her a silver heart shaped locket with the word 'forever' written on it in swirly writing. She opened the box and gasped. "Thank you so much Luke!" she said excitedly. "No problem babe" I said. That night was the best night of my life....so far ;)
