"Are you waiting for her?" Sirius chuckled as I stayed by the door. "And you said you wouldn't forget about Lily over a pretty girl"

"I feel bad for what I said yesterday!" I defended, nudging him slightly, as he raised his hands in defense.

"Hopefully, she doesn't turn your hair red!" Remus snorted, waving to me as they all walked off to their classes.

I do feel bad for what I said yesterday, technically they weren't even my words! I was only quoting what Padfoot said on the train. I wasn't going to tell her that though. I was simply going to reintroduce myself and apologize for starting off on the wrong foot. Hopefully, I'd get a good night rest today for fixing some of my wrongs.

I was patiently leaning on the wall for about seven minutes, not that I was counting. I had been debating during those seven minutes about whether I should stay and look like a creep while I wait for her or go to class and not get another detention. Sadly, I was too late in making my decision as the brown haired girl walked out of the class, staring at me with a raised brow.

"Can't get enough of me?"

"Just wanted to make sure Mcgonagall wasn't being a hard arse" I awkwardly chuckled, adjusting the strap of my bag, feeling nervous under her gaze.

It always seemed she was looking at you - but I mean, really looking at you, like she knows something about me that I haven't quite figure out myself. It felt a bit silly to say that her eyes sort of hypnotized me, considering i've stared at them for very minimal time.

"She just wanted to ask me out" She casually said, walking off. I quickly followed her, not taking my eyes of off her as we walked side by side.

"She's cheating? Blimey, that woman wants everyone" I joked, making her chuckle a bit. "Your next class?"

"Potions with Slughorn, yay" She sarcastically replied. I silently felt a bit of joy knowing that we would be in the same first two classes. "I'm going the correct way...right?"

"Yeah, we are, I have that class too so if we go the wrong way i'll let you know" I confirmed. "Seems like you already hate Slughorn?"

"I don't hate him, he just knows my family too well" She shrugged. I nodded slightly, looking away from her, knowing not to touch such a sensitive topic. "Did you know Xavier?"

"Yeah, he was a brilliant seeker, taught me a few tricks" I reminisced to her. "Your grandpa was brilliant too"

"Yeah, was"

"How's your first day going so far?" I awkwardly said, coughing a bit. I had never been in a situation quite like this.

"I somehow keep finding myself talking to a dork who got me a detention and i've had no breakfast"

"Technically, I helped you go in the right direct- dork?"

"Yeah" She said, lazily smiling, stopping as we arrived a few steps before the classroom. "A dork"

"You're mean"

"You insulted me yesterday - and that's only what I heard, Merlin knows what else you've said"

"I'm sorry about...that" I shamefully, looking at the ground. "I want to make it up to you"

"Unless you can unsay what you said"

"Impossible" I chuckled. "Lunch - meet me by the boys bathroom on the first floor?"

"If your way of making it up to me is by fingering me in the boy's bathroom then I think i'll pass"

"What? No! Oh my- Is that what it sounded like?"

"Yeah" She chuckled, looking up to me, making me feel a little nervous aa she looked into my eyes.

"I need to work on my delivery" I said to myself, breaking the eye contact.

"You do that, i'm going to class" Scarlett said, walking off entering the classroom.

I quickly ran behind her and followed her in, feeling my cheeks get red, replaying the conversation we just had in the corridor.

"Miss Wilde and Mister Potter, Finally! I was starting to wonder if you were actually in my class" Slughorn happily replied, not an ounce of anger to him.

"We have a note" Scarlett said, giving him a pink slip that he didn't even read - he just threw it out, the rest of the class and even I looked at him strangely, until I pieced it all together.

Slughorn and Jiménez would always be outside, during lunch, smoking cigarettes, they thought no one ever knew, but the boys and I always had a way of finding things out. Which, made everything make sense, Of course he would treat his former best mates grandchild this way. "Hope your summer went well"

"Indeed, my dear, healing and coping" Professor Slughorn replied more quietly. "Please take a seat! I was just about to announce partners for the year"

Scarlett and I made our way to the empty seats, passing by Lily, who I gently smiled at and waved to. Her response wasn't so kind, a simple eye glare and a scoff, nothing unusual though.

"Now where was I?" Slughorn announced, looking down at a piece of parchment. "Oh, right, Let's start with..."

Slughorn went down the list, as I half-listened, my hand on my chin as I was slowly falling asleep until I heard Lily's name.

"Evans and-" Slughorn hesitated, which was strange considering he said the last partners without a pause. I noticed him eyeing me and Scarlett, who was doodling a weird creature on a piece of parchment. I sat up straight assuming he was about to call my name to pair me up with Lily, but instead, he said "Lupin".

I slouched my shoulders, disappointingly as I saw Moony go sit next to Lily. On the bright side, I could ask Moony to switch partners with me, hopefully I get paired up with an intelligent per-

"Wilde and Potter" Slughorn said, making me divert my eyes to him immediately. Would Scarlett be offended if I ask to switch partners?

I take a glance at her, knowing I couldn't do that, I don't know why I felt the need to not hurt Scarlett's feelings. It's not like i'm going to be a great partner anyway.

I let out a sigh and looked at her drawing. It was a strange looking creature, human yet trollish looking.

I ripped a piece of parchment from my bag and lazily wrote 'What is that?', passing it to her. She let out a quiet chuckle, and quickly wrote back.

'you'

'Not funny'

'you chuckled a bit, dont lie'

I rolled my eyes at the night and looked at her as she had a cheekish smile, showing her slightly crooked teeth and looking down quickly.

'Pukwudgie'

"Weird" I whispered, grabbing the piece of parchment, examining the drawing. "Can I keep this?"

"Why?" She furrowed her brows, eyes flickering between the paper and I.

"Because it's a portrait of me, of course" I chuckled, looking at the detailed drawing, impressed at her skills.

"Okay" She whispered, quickly grabbing the paper and signing her initials.

SCW.

"C?" I whispered, leaning close to her face, elbows on the table, her minty breath and rose perfume engulfing my nose.

"See what?" She sarcastically said, giving me a sly grin.

I let out a small chuckle and shook my head, pointing at her signature.

"Catalina"

"Fleamont"

"Fleamont?" She repeated quietly, covering her mouth to hide her smile.

"Piss off" I whispered, leaning back, directing my attention to Slughorn, a small smile creeping on my face as I heard a soft giggle escape from her mouth.
